Mystic Sweet Shop

Stopped in on a slow Monday in Mystic. Was able to check things out and try their ice cream, truffles, coffee, and even found a cute gift for the person that was watching the house. Kathy was friendly and offered good suggestions. The white chocolate cappuccino was excellent. It was like a hug in a cup.
Ice Cream is made in house with fresh milk from local dairy. That alone merits trying some
Fudge is made in house. I had the pralines fudge. It tastes as good as it looks. And it looked amazing. I was promised it was calorie free Monday fudge.
Great little spot if you're strolling through town and shopping. Or maybe have lunch and dinner and want to take a stroll and get a desert a little later. Whatever the reason you need, this is a cute little shop that offers something for all appetites.

We just ate at the pizza place up the road and felt like some ice cream so we headed down to Mystic Sweet Shop however, they had just closed. We saw someone in there and knocked on the window in hopes we could get that ice cream fix. It looked like we were beat so we started to walk off. We took a few steps and suddenly heard the door open. It was Rick one of the owners and he asked us what would we like. This was great, he let us in and we were there for about an hour chatting about candy, ice cream, and life. It was a pretty special experience since it was our first time in Mystic too. All the samples of candy and ice cream were some of the best we'd ever had and I would one hundred percent recommend stopping by here to purchase something, you can't go wrong. Just make sure it's with in the hours they are open lol. Next time we're in Mystic we are definitely going back. Thanks for the wonderful experience Rick.

Its cute. There are some competing icecream joints on the street - cant go wrong with this one. I had a strawberry sunday with cherry/chocolate chip ice cream. If youre debating where to get a dessert, give this place a go.

This is a pretty nifty ice cream and candy store. I got two scoops of the Butter Pecan, which is my favorite flavor and it was really tasty. It was not too sweet. The salt water taffy is great. I'd hate to say it, but it is much better than Coney Island's taffy. If I would have known it was that good, I would have bought more bags. Service was a tad slow, but I overlooked it since the lady waiting on everyone was by herself and she was so nice. I will definitely come back here the next time I am in the area.

Plenty of great ice cream flavors and other sweet treats! Staff members are really friendly, offering excellent service. The shop itself is a bit small, so be prepared to stand in line during busy periods. But its so worth the wait!

Hands-down, the greatest ice cream I’ve ever had in my life! Everything is homemade, friendly service with a smile, and simply put, the most delicious, flavorful ice cream ever. Between my husband, kids, and I, I was able to taste four different flavors, all incredible. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. A definite stop on your visit in Mystic.

We stopped by after hours because it was open. The store owner was so friendly, and told us a lot of mystic and its history. Their chocolates are so exquisite. Got some Easter chocolate eggs too. Thanks for the samples as well!

Visiting mystic today and wanted a sweet( or 2) to top off our lunch. Very yummy chocolates, handcrafted, a wonderful service. We love dark chocolate and the truffles and dipped fruits did not disappoint!

Stopped in and grabbed a few treats and they were amazing! From Lobster gummies to dark chocolate dipped pineapple, everything was delicious! Super friendly staff. Can't recommend enough!

Excellent selection, I really loved the dark chocolate. Expensive but worth it in my opinion, as some of it is gourmet chocolate. We didn't try the ice cream but it looked delightful, and some other customers commented how much they enjoyed it.

Best ice cream and fudge. And a nice selection of candy you rarely see anymore....candy cigs...childhood is back!
Really good milkshakes as well.

Stopped in for a treat (truffles) and they were delicious. Pretty big, too! I ended up ordering a box of truffles on their website later for Mother’s Day. She loved the gift!

I've been going to this place for years...High quality chocolates, fudge, and ice cream (a majority of which is made by them so always very fresh and delicious), plus a nice blend of both unique and nostalgic candy variety. One of my favorite places to pick up a sweet treat or gift for someone else! Customer service is always friendly and lines during busy summer months are typically handled efficiently.

Stopped in to get an ice cream on a very hot day, great choice. The black raspberry was the best I’ve ever had, made with raspberry purée and so creamy. Definitely stop in this little place and get yourself an ice cream and some homemade fudge!

Nice employees and great vegan ice cream without nuts for the allergy-concious among us.

This place is AWESOME!!!! My daughter and I went every day while they were there. The service is wonderful. Luna is so sweet! Her personality and excitement made it such a wonderful experience!

Excellent ice cream, open later than many of the other options! Peanut butter and mud slide were both delicious.

The fresh espresso poured over an ice cream scoop of your choice is a must try! I had the oreo ice cream and my boyfriend the chocolate. Both ice creams were delicious and the espresso was just as fabulous!
