One of the best shopping experiences I’ve had! Basically a one on one shopping experience with the owner! The service was unmatched! He has all of the best vintage items for a great price! He has all different teams/sports not just AZ sports! Got myself a super cool chiefs jersey! Definitely check this out if you’re in the area!

Highly recommend this store for vintage fan gear. I saw a post on Instagram featuring this pristine Barkley jacket and DMed the owner. Within minutes, the jacket was mine. Super easy transaction, very responsive, and most of all—you can tell that the owner is a decent human being. He shipped the jacket to me, free of charge. I received the jacket only a couple days later. It was even better than advertised. Like new condition. It wasn’t cheap but it was absolutely worth the price paid. I would highly recommend this store if you are an old school bball fan!

Tempe Throwbacks is a one of a kind spot, the feeling I got of nostalgia looking at different items on the wall or in the racks was absolutely insane, being a 90s baby there were items literally took me back in the best way.. I first went in and took a few sports items to sell and I walked away a happy and satisfied customer, feeling that it was totally fair. The pieces in this store are absolutely incredible and the pricing is definitely fair as well. I stop in at least once a week now and do business with David (the owner) and I enjoy it very much, he is very knowledgeable and great at what he does. He takes the time to explain certain pieces and I definitely learn at least something every time I go and visit. I recommend this store 150% 😊

I have my Instagram notifications on for when they drop their latest items. This vintage, 90's Suns Pro Player jacket was posted, and I immedietley fell in love. Picked up the next morning and will be wearing it to every playoff game this season! An absolute gem, and so grateful to have found it! Tempe Throwbacks has an impressive collection of Arziona sports apperal. I highly recommend any local sports lovers or thrifters to stop in. I also grabbed a vintage 1997 ASU Rose Bowl Polo for my boyfriend, and he is ecstatic! Thank you Tempe Throwbacks!

I randomly decided to search for a vintage sports store and was shocked when this came up—I’ve never seen a store dedicated to vintage sports wear like this. I was going to a Suns game and didn’t want to be a basic-b with the same gear everyone else had and this store did not disappoint!

The owner is super helpful and passionate about the items in the shop. Even as someone who isn’t super into sports, I was very impressed with the cool items in there so I can’t imagine how cool sports fanatics would find this place. This is no dinky vintage store, these items are legit!

Every time i come here, i love looking at the jerseys that David, the owner, has. He’s very sociable and personable, and has a fun energy to be around. His collection of vintage jerseys have something there for anyone.

What can I say about this place and the owner that hasnt already been touched on. I have been coming to Tempe throwbacks for a few years now and have always been taken care of. But it was my most recent experience that really put this place over the top. I had let the owner know that I was looking for a particular piece for my Nephew who is a huge 49ers fan. Not only did the owner some how find this rare piece but he held on to it ,called me and let me know it was mine. Great price, great deal, great experience. Customer service is absolutely top notch! Not only did David take the time to get to know me, what i was looking for, but he delivered!!!! This guy is the epitome of customer first!!!

I happened to find Tempe Throwbacks on Instagram. Made the drive up from San Tan to check it out! David (the owner) happened to be locking up when I got there. He opened right back up and was badass! Story for every jersey, and they have EVERY sport, EVERY team. Ended up spending over an hour in this store. I collect Chicago Bears, Hawks, and Sox memorabilia. All 100% authentic, David even showed me where I could look online to double check if wanted! Some look brand new, some are distressed due to age, but everything was very high quality, and definitely gonna be making a trip back. He’s got my business from here on out.

Got a quite literally one in a million jacket here for my boyfriend for his birthday. Super reasonably priced even though David (owner) absolutely could have tripled the price and it still would have been reasonable considering it’s so rare. Awesome store always getting new items and David is great!

I recently came across Tempe Throwbacks on instagram and found an item I wanted to purchase that was posted on the page. I sent the account a direct message and David responded immediately. Luckily the item was still available and David was happy to sell and ship it to me, as I'm out of state. The process was very easy and much appreciated that he was able to put the item in the mail the next day. The entire process was smooth and hassle free. First class service and amazing gear. I'll definitely be buying again from David at Tempe Throwbacks, knowing he is willing to ship items. 5-Star, highly recommend.
