TMP Firearms Training and Self Defense

As an older woman getting started in firearm handling and carry, finding the right instructor was of paramount importance to me. When I ran across Tina's profile, I immediately knew she was The One for me, and she surpassed my expectations! Her full-day classes are well paced and very interesting. She is patient, kind, and doesn't mind taking the time to ensure everyone understands and participates, whether they're newbies or experienced shooters. I also took the in-home concealed carry full-day training, and I highly recommend it above the classroom training for a more personalized, in-depth experience! Training with her at the range from the beginning was the right decision for me as well. She's quick to correct bad techniques before they become bad habits, leading to a considerably shorter learning curve and more accurate shooting. Tina's guidance has given me the confidence I needed to handle firearms safely and effectively, and I can't recommend her enough. Tina came highly recommended where I bought my firearm to instruct me for CWP training. Tina is a retired police officer of 28 years. This is a full day of instruction and includes the 50 question written exam and shooting proficiency test . Tina was so thorough in her instruction, and encouraged firearm practice to stay in practice. I have joined an outdoor range and practice so that I am comfortable handling my weapon. I highly recommend Tina's course to any Man or Woman, you will leave full of knowledge and have all of your questions answered.

I have had the pleasure of taking a few of her classes: a concealed to carry class, self defense, and now one-on-one firearms training.

I wanted to feel more comfortable to carry a firearm but didn’t know where to even start, including how to buy one, and I was too nervous to practice on my own.

Training one-on-one with Tina has been awesome! I’ve been learning all the basics of handling a firearm, shooting at the range, and trying different firearms to find the right one for me.

Tina was one of the first instructors I worked with. Since then, I’ve completed over 200 hours of formal training, and have become an instructor myself. I would not hesitate to send my wife or mother to her for anything related to self defense. She is able to break down complex topics into easy to understand chunks, and provides feedback so that you leave a training session feeling more confident than when you arrived. Tina is simply one of the best.

The course was presented professionally. Tina is a superb instructor and I did learn a lot from her on the proper handling of a weapon for defense & the applicable laws surrounding the permit. I am grateful for the excellent training provided.

I’m interested in buying a weapon for self defense. I knew I needed at least a course in learning how to turn it on 😀.
This course is for everyone…. If you own a weapon but never had a course this is the one to take. Tina a qualified instructor who cares about weapons safety and proper handling. You learn about the status of your weapon, how it works internally and external. More to it than you think. Learn to site your weapon and your target, so fascinating. She takes you to the firing range to put in practice on what she just taught you. A great day, a great course and a Top Notch Instructor. Next is the Concealed Weapons Training (SC Law). After that I will go weapon’s shopping.
At least one person in your family should take this course if you have weapons….. it could save a life.

Had Tina as an instructor 5 years ago in CT. Great instructor. It was an 8 hour classroom learning process followed by technical training.
She knows her stuff so if you are thinking of taking a pistol class by all means attend hers.
