Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I had a wonderful experience here. It was my first time here, and I asked the nice guy working there what he recommended, and he suggested a Bahama mama, but I was also hungry, so he suggested to me the baja chicken wrap. So I took it and it and my order was very fast. The smothie was very good, and the wrap was crisp, just how I liked it. I'm definitely coming back soon!

Love this little healthy cafe! I have been here several times for a smoothie and ordered salads for delivery. Everything is delicious and affordable!

They offer breakfast all day (only about 5 things on that menu, but they don't disappoint). Small location so just 2-3 small tables for 2 people only. Not set up for a larger group to eat in.

Service is always fast and their smoothies are affordable, one size and they have lots of add-ons, like whey protein or fruit. Super tasty and great value!

Caleb at the Gaithersburg location was amazing. Friendly, helpful and great service! We stopped twice. Mozzarella grilled cheese sandwich nd a triple berry smoothie. Then the second go round we got a Turkey bacon ranch sandwich, and a Chipotle chicken flatbread with TWO triple berry smoothies. Tehe. ;-) First time here and we are excited to check out the location in Hagerstown MD.

We had a great experience. Staff were very friendly, greeted us with smiles, and they were quick getting our order and making sure it was correct. We have a family of 8, so it's usually a little overwhelming for most staff, but these guys did so great! Our food was done well and tasted great. Thanks TSC!

I watched as all the ladies working their behinds off in here got absolutely degraded and yelled at by a rude women and continued to act professional and suit the rude ladies needs. These are the type of women I would hire and you’re more than lucky to have them. They’re handling a load of customers that is too much for not only them but the super small space inside. Excellent work by the staff here. Please give them the credit they deserve.

This is by far the best Tropical smoothie I have ever been to. I have been to a couple locations but everything about this location was above and beyond amazing!
The staff will greet you as soon as you walk in and make you feel extremely welcomed. Almost like you’re family and they are excited to see you. They are very friendly and helpful from the cashiers to cooks and cleaning staff. You can tell they genuinely care for their customers and their restaurant.
This is the cleanest tropical smoothie I have been to. Some of the restaurants I have been to have a little bit of an odor from the supplement powders. This location didn’t even smell compared to the other locations I’ve been to.
I got food and a smoothie, everything was on point and amazing!! Best Bahama mama I have ever had! I seriously wish other locations were as great as this one!
They definitely have my business and I’ve already encouraged several people to check them out!

My first experience was with ordering food on door dash and it was quick and delicious. Super affordable. I was curious so my husband and I decided to come in for dinner and you are immediately greeted with smiling faces and a vibrant hello! We pretty much have become regulars. Delicious smoothies and great food. Again the best customer service I think I’ve ever received at any establishment. If I could give this location 10 stars ⭐ i would. London greeted me tonight and his customer service is out of this world! Positive and kind and really takes the time to connect. I can’t say enough good things! We will be faithful customers! Great job to all of the staff at Gaithersburg Tropical Smoothie!

We came for the Grand Opening & my family still comes in pretty often (We have the app & have racked up lots of reward points). We've met the owner a few times now & he is always super personable, friendly, smiling & treats you like a long time friend. He offered my little one a cookie but we declined since she wasn't able to chew just yet. Awfully sweet gesture though. The rest of the staff are also very friendly & always make sure to greet you. The food is delicious & the smoothies are super addicting. My husband jokes & tells me to work there so we can get discounts since we are regulars. 🤣

Employees are very friendly, attentive and kind. Food is consistent every time. Service is fast, even at lunch.

Had the best experience w my 2 kids. The customer service, team chemistry and culture was great. They even forgot to put in one of our orders...and brought it out on the house. I'll be back easily once a week, if not more

I have been a loyal customer since they opened. Always great service, smiles and greetings galore and the best smoothies in Maryland. Unfortunately, I will no longer be working next door due to a transfer, but I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Best of luck to you guys.. I will miss you!

This is actually the first review I have ever written. I was absolutely blown away by the amazing customer service that this location provided. I placed an order with Postmates for pick up and was never notified that Postmates cancelled my order. When I showed up, Rafik offered to make my order anyway and give it to me free of charge! They turned what could have been an awful experience into a great one. I will definitely be revisiting this location and will strongly encourage many others to as well. Thank you so much to Rafik and the rest of the team :)

What a wonderful place !!!! I am a huge observative person when it comes to restaurants , customer service and food. Every restaurant I go with family or friends I always find something that disappointed me but this place was omg the whole opposite thing . From arriving to leaving. The staff was always smiling (very busy) but always interacting with customers and giving their best at every moment. The Managet Rafi was phenomenal WAY TO GO!!! An outstanding leader , he was so on top of the game with customers and his team , like you would know that he’s the leader (not the manager or the boss) the LEADER!!! The restaurant was spotless, music on point , atmosphere was so comfortable, great flow with customers, no bottle necks at all, everything was so smooth. Food was absolutely delicious and the smoothies the most refreshing healthy one I’ve had. After coming from my sons soccer game , one of the coaches said let’s go to eat at Tropical Smoothie Cafe and I was like “Boy I want real food” and surprisingly your food didn’t just met my expectations on flavor but on calories since I always track what I eat and you were actually on my app menu “in love” I know this is a big review, I’m happy you guys exist , this is what I call eating amazing food at an amazing place with amazing people !!!!

Good spot for a hot day! Great options and the smoothies we got tasted great! Boyfriend got the blimey limey and I got the watermelon mojito. We both were super happy!

Love the smoothies and the food is good too. Not crowded so you can get in and out quickly. Definitely a positive experience!

I have been here a few times. the smoothies are always A+. If you get a smoothie that includes a banana, keep in mind to tell them your preference of ripeness, I'm pretty sure if you dont say your preference they throw a green banana in there- which i believe is not most peoples preference. there chips are also really good- I get the salt and vinegar ones. Also the paninis are A+

The smoothies are huge! I stopped in here the week it opened. Great food, friendly staff. Definitely would recommend. And make sure you have the app/ barcode ready to scan!

Rafi is the nicest person ever & so is everyone else on the team. They’re really good at conversing with me while still working hard! 10/10 location.
