The Ditch Cafe

At this point, I visit at LEAST once a week.

I've been in town for just under a year and had a lot of fun trying the different shops. You're not hard pressed to find a quality cup of coffee here; most places carry the lovely locally roasted Wolf Tree blends. Even so, there's no contest when it comes to your bread-and-butter coffee shop.

The food steals the show here. Every time I try something new, it becomes a part of my regular rotation of orders. My favourite is the "breaky toasty." I've definitely spent over a hundred dollars by now, just ordering this sandwich over and over again. Every bite feels like the first.

You can compare the prices to a chain like Tim's all you want, but with the cost of everything these days and the sheer quality on display, it's unbelievable that they aren't charging twice as much for any of the food. They absolutely could too! There's nowhere else in town to get the selection of remarkable artisanal sandwiches available here.

Everything is seeped in a homestyle vibe which is woefully absent from the cafe scene in this day and age, they exceed in absolutely every category. I could never sufficiently sing its praises.

The incredible staff, the easy listening, the stellar food or the perfect cup of coffee. There's no doubt 'The Ditch' has taken its rightful place as the beating heart of Oliver, BC. You've got options sure, but 'The Ditch' clears 'em!

🌟🥰 What a charming and cozy café! They serve scrumptious, expertly-crafted specialty ☕ coffee, and their baked goods are out-of-this-world delicious 🍰, with even some gluten-free options 🌾! The staff are simply 👌 lovely, professional 🎩, and super accommodating 🙌. This hidden gem in Oliver is buzzing with activity 🏃‍♂🏃‍♀. If only they were open every day! 🗓💔

So cute! Love the atmosphere. The best Americano!! and so many yummy baked goodies. Vegan and gluten-free options too! I got the granola and it was so good! The sandwiches looked so good too!

We showed up right at closing. Staff were accommodating. Ordered a few sandwiches and specialty teas. Sandwiches were excellent and accompanying salad was a surprise and very good. Drinks were above average. Sat outside to the bad road noise. This is a must stop if cruising through Oliver.

Had a tasty nourishing salad platter and the delicious walnut - banana bread and nice teas from a good selection.

You need to try the Vegan Brekkie Wrap! so nice to find something nutritious, tasty and fast while passing through! Staff were friendly and cafe is cute and A/C’d! Will be back :)

I had the loveliest experience here today . We are MOMS STOP THE HARM and choose this lovely Cafe to share our time together and this was where we needed to be!!!

We love going to the Ditch to start our Sunday mornings. The staff are always smiling and the environment is friendly. The heavy traffic is certainly an indicator of the great food and service.

I was so excited for the opening of The Ditch and it did not disappoint! Friendly staff and owner, warm and inviting atmosphere, great bites and tunes! I came on a weekend morning for breakfast and enjoyed a latte and toastie. Delicious and filling. Muffins are also phenomenal. This is the kind of cafe you feel cozy in and don't want to leave. A perfect addition to the town of Oliver. 😊

Kind baristas. Simple service. Flat whites good - way better than junction 3 coffee. Espresso is dark but balanced, closest you’ll get to a speciality milk drink in Oliver/osooyos. Highly recommend!

This place seriously has the best espresso/cappuccino I have ever experienced. My daughter and I both raced about it for days. The food options are limited but delicious! Has a very simple, laid back decor, friendly staff and nearby parking. Will never in future, pass Oliver without getting a coffee here.

The Coffee was outstanding!! and the service was fun and friendly. These cats really know how to Rock. MEOW uWu

Great food, we had two grilled sandwiches and they were better than homemade! Served hot with stretchy warm cheese oozing and bright vegetables that tasted fresh from the garden.

A quality cafe with vegan options. Super friendly and cozy environment. Highly recommend for locals or just driving through.

Cutest space for Dirty Oat Chia Latte & a Vegan Brekkie Wrap. By the steady traffic, you can tell it’s a stop worth making and loved by many. Staff were very courteous and friendly. I’ll be back again this week. Heh

First time in The Ditch since the new owners. Looks cool and the breakfast muffin was absolutely delicious!! Will be back. Glad that the feeding of the feral cats is continuing 🥰

Love The Ditch! Me and the other telus guys always stop in for coffee and a snack when down that way. I especially love the chilli in the winter.
