I went in to the East Alton location today wondering if I could use my virtual card and have them manually enter it in since I don't have my physical copy of my debit card and wanted to get my five year old daughter some dinner, but they couldn't do that. The young gentleman at the front counter who helped me showed me unrelenting kindness. After asking the manager on shift, and being told they were no longer allowed to enter card info in manually, this astounding young person asked me what she wanted, and I said nevermind it's alright, and started to walk away and he says "no, ma'am what do you want?" and said he wanted to pay for my daughters dinner so what was it she wanted. Thank you! You were the third place that denied me being able to use my card, I must have looked pretty disappointed. And for whatever reason, you paid for her dinner tonight. While $6 may not seem like a lot, it meant a lot to me. Times are tough out here and you have restored my faith in humanity once more. So thank you again.

This McDonald's is usually always quick to give you your food, and at the same time the quality of the food here is usually always great. They rarely get the orders wrong or miss anything. Sometimes there's a grumpy employee or two, but usually it's friendly service. Their parking lot layout is easy to navigate and get in and out of. The inside is usually clean and there's plenty of seating. It's a very good location and often busy. 🍔🍟

I am kinda getting tired of fast food but a big Mac or two, every now and then.

Super friendly staff and the only disappointment was that I did not catch the young lady's name at the drive thru to be able to personally recognize her superior customer service skills and attention to detail. She was friendly yet professional, and caught a wrong order before it was handed to us. You hired someone with a very bright future ahead McDonald's, once again, good job!

Everything is always right when we order from here. Never had any problems

The food is usually always hot and fresh. The people are friendly and helpful. When placing your order, they will usually offer a less expensive way to order what you want if there is one. I wish more places were like that. I also like that the restrooms are kept clean

It's McDonalds my quick fix for lunch when I'm desperate because it's right next door to my job and $6 for a Bigmac meal on Cardinals day sure why not...the staff here make it feel like a 5 star restaurant!

Drive through was busy but they kept it flowing and it only took a few minutes to get through it. Plus, they got my order correct. That's a much better experience than other McDonald's that I have visited.

I always appreciate seeing those with disabilities hired places and McDonald's is one of them. They have very fast service and always get special food requests correct, even when there is a nearest flea specific request. They have great deals on there app now, offering free food and a lot of money-saving deals

Wood river McDonalds has the best crew. The managers are wonderful and the other employees are ad well. They are more like a family and fit perfectly together.

The drive thru moves pretty fast. I got special order food and it was hot and well made. Good customer service

This McDonald's is by far my favorite in the area. Foods always correct and hot! They are very friendly with quick drive thru service. This is a must drive thru for a quick , easy feeding when you have little ones. I can honestly say with all the little special wants and yucks for each child's taste for likes and dislikes that change weekly depending on their tough life toddler and pre teen moods, I know when we get home they are always satisfied with each weeks changing request. Nobdy wants screaming children when they finally arrive home because someone forgot to put BBQ sauce in that nugget happy meal😉 THANKS EAST ALTON MC DONALD'S WE CAN ALWAYS DEPEND ON YOU🤗

They are getting better at getting orders correct and they have really hot fries all the time

The manager Julie is amazing!!!! This location is always clean and they get your order correct Everytime. Love it!!!!! Love you Julie and thank you for taking pride in your work and caring for your customers

Great place to get food if you want it to be fast

Who doesn't love McDonald's this one is a fast location I hope they rebuild tires that burnt down real soon... Just in time for the McRib release next year

Drive-thru was quick even though it was busy, food was hot and fresh and nice and polite workers.
