My 7 year old just finished her first semester of violin with Mr. Ali. He’s patient and great with kids. I learned quite a bit myself and was able to guide practice at home after watching. We enjoyed seeing our daughter perform at the Christmas concert hosted by Soltani Music. Highly recommend!

Mr. Soltani is amazing. He's great with students of all ages. My 6 y/o son loves his lessons, as do my 13 & 15 y/o daughters that also play in Edmond orchestra. He individualizes their sessions and perfectly compliments the school programs.

We absolutely love Soltani Music! Our 5 year old started taking violin lessons about a month ago; and, she has already learned so much in a short amount of time! Mr. Soltani is so wonderful to work with - he teaches music in a creative, fun environment and challenges her to grow each week. Under his guidance she is now a key part of her high school's symphony Orchestra and the District wide Silver Strings program. Mr. Soltani is an excellent teacher! He is patient and works with students at their individual levels. Since my daughter has been with him, she has progressed each year. We can't recommend Mr. Soltani enough! He is excellent at his craft and has our full endorsement if you are looking for violin instructor!

My 11 year old has been taking violin with Mr. Soltani for almost 3 months now. He’s patient, kind, and encouraging and she is progressing pretty well, I think. The studio is bright and clean, with a comfy couch to sit and observe, with ample parking on the neighborhood street. Know that you’ll be paying at the first of the month, up front, and it’s not terribly easy to fit in a make up lesson, if needed. I do have a feeling we’ll be taking lessons here for some time.

Mr. Soltani is a very professional, knowledgeable, positive, and encouraging teacher, while gently challenging my daughter beyond what she thinks she is capable. He has not only helped her music technically, but has added to her musical self-confidence. I highly recommend him!

My daughter is fairly new to the viola. She began private lessons with Mr. Soltani the first week of summer break. She is extremely shy and anxious but Mr. Soltani has been super patient and encouraging with her. He is always available when we have questions, which is often and I believe he goes above and beyond for his students. My daughters skill has improved so much in such a short time as has her level of confidence. I could not be happier with our choice to have Mr. Soltani as my daughters instructor.

Ali has been the BEST viola instructor! My daughter has become so excited and passionate about playing. He does a perfect job of balancing skill development, music theory, and keeping it fun! He is an excellent communicator, keeps an organized lesson schedule and truly provides the best musical experience for his students. He is often playing alongside them, sharing his own passion for playing and learning. We are so grateful to have him!

My daughters started taking lessons from Mr Soltani when they were in 3rd and 9th grades respectively. Elder one took lessons for 4 years and the younger one is now in high school and still takes lessons from Mr Soltani. Both my daughters enjoyed taking lessons from Mr Soltani. He is very kind , patient and teaches per each students needs. There were many instances , when he spent extra time without charging additional fee because the student was motivated! Mr. Soltani has always been a patient and informative teacher. I have never felt like he has let me down once in my lessons. He is extremely professional and accommodating when it comes to scheduling. His teaching methods are effective and useful especially since I have entered my college orchestra. Mr. Soltani is infinitely patient and kind. He inspires a love of music, and teaches so many more things than just how to play a particular song — good form, how to read music, and composition, just to name a few. I wholeheartedly recommend him for kiddos interested in learning how to play violin.

As an older student, I was very nervous but determined to fulfill a long-held dream of learning to play the violin. Thanks to my parents, I already play the piano and have a deep love for music. Mr. Soltani has been and continues to be steadfast, kind, and encouraging in my lessons. When I have been discouraged because my fingers don't do what I want them to do, he cheers me onward and compliments me on what they will do. When I'm convinced I am extra slow, he encourages me and reminds me of what I've learned. He works with each student as an individual; learning strengths, likes, and needs and weaving this knowledge into the lessons. Taking lessons from Mr. Soltani is not just about learning to play a musical instrument - he is a gifted Instructor but he has also been instrumental in increasing my courage, self-confidence and perseverance. I highly recommend taking violin lessons from him - at all ages!

Mr. Soltani covers all the bases - he has not only taught my son the fundamentals and honed his ability to understand and play the music, he has given him confidence and a new love for the instrument. One of the things I like best, Mr. Soltani sets expectations and follows up. He keeps my son accountable for what he is supposed to be doing and sets the bar high.

Mr. Soltani has been teaching my daughter vioin for over 6 years! His ability to instruct during her from 3rd grade to now as a Sophmore in High School is evidence that he has patience and can meet the student where they are in age and talent. She enjoys playing now because of Mr. Soltani's constant encouragement and instruction!
