Game X Change

My family and I absolutely love coming to this location and we will oftentimes makes the drive to Longview just to come here and peruse their selection of video games, DVDs, game systems, Funko Pops, and Magic the Gathering cards. I have even got several of my family and friends to come to this location as well. We are always welcomed when we walk in, the employees are always willing to help, and I honestly don’t believe that we have ever had a bad experience here. I would recommend this location, especially if you are looking for used game systems, Funko Pops, and used trading cards.

Clean store with clear walkways. Isles are wide enough for a wheel chair. Very relaxed, calm & comfortable environment, the employees are very respectful. They do not have any of the arrogance and attitude some other stores of this same category or pawn shops tend to have an overload of being dished out by the workers. Everything is clearly marked and on display which is great because I hate having to ask what a used item will cost. It seems to be a trick to force customers to engage with the store, the customer initiating and the topic being money from the start. Lol. Great prices here mo matter if you are buying or selling items.

Awesome selection and beyond fair prices for buying your old games and consoles.

Staff didn't try to push unnecessary items or upgrades on my elderly aunt when she came in.

This is the go-to store before anywhere else.

I take back my other review and in it's place I put this one they were very helpful and if the DVD are items were missing they will let you pick out another one

Went to browse the old SNES and N64 games; they had a nice large selection. They have a ton of hardware too, more than I expected. I ended up buying a few rare Magic cards!

Way Better than the nearby GameStop and Games2Go, especially when it comes to selling or trading where they give you fair and right prices. The prime place to sell old equipment and games.

It's really cool. You can trade or sell a bunch of different things; not just consoles and games, but cellphones, DVDs and blu-rays, too.

The staff was nice and helpful. They checked the condition of the items before handing it to us. One of my items was in a box and didn't look that great, so they swapped it out for one in better condition.

The best place to go (locally) for affordable used games, consoles and movies. As a family with four kids, we strive for affordable! They even have layaway options. I do wish they had extended warranty plans but it doesn't detour me. The employees are always ready to help without being pushy.

Great prices and selection on classic gaming consoles and games, not many stores seem to have the variety and quality they do. The auburn haired woman who works there is an absolute beast when it comes to knowing classic gaming. She’s always 100% honest with me when I ask For her opinion on games. They also give you a way more reasonable price for trade ins. In my opinion they’ve stepped their game up the past 1-1.5 years. The only thing I wish they had was a rewards system like GameStop does, for the amount of money I spend there sometimes I wish I could get a little love shown back. However, GameStop will never get my money again, I am forever loyal to this location. Highly recommended.

Game Exchange has been my main go-to store for classic games all of 2019 so far.
I've had only one issue with the staff but that's because he accidentally gave me the wrong disc.
Other than that, they have been cooperative, charming and useful towards every nerdy question i've thrown at them.
I highly recommend this location especially if you're a classic gamer like myself who finds sentimental value in games and their original packaging.

My experiences(not at this location in particular but this location included) have been amazing and superb consistently since buying a Nintendo 64 when I was 7 years old in 2005 at the location in Tyler. I go here at least once every few months and, hope you guys stay in business. I'm really loving my season boxset of southpark (that was cheaper than online price) and my Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time cartridge purchased here(that was cheaper than online price) purchased here within the last few months.

Going to Game X Change for me is taking me back to my childhood. I am a huge movie collector and love collecting dvds. I remember when I was a child always going to Blockbuster and Hastings to rent or buy movies that had come out on video and dvd. I am from MP and we do not have any kind of entertainment store. Our Hastings closed in 2016. I really enjoy going to all of the Game X Change stores. I always find a dvd here or there that makes my day. I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for some good old dvds.

Absolutely amazing store. I have purchased multiple games from this store and have always been very satisfied. Trade-ins almost always give me more than GameStop or other stores and if I had any problems with the merchandise they were quick to get it fixed or just flat out exchange it. I couldn't be happier with this store and would recommend it to anyone I know.

Went in looking for a new controller and cord. I talked with Matty, and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. What he didnt know, he was not afraid to ask his coworkers. I got more than I intended, but I would happily do it again. I will continue doing business here

I actually like game exchange better than the other game stores because they have a better selection and better prices. They also pay better when your trying to sell your old games. I also have a great experience when i go because there are super helpful and very nice.

Always have a friendly staff. Movies are mostly always in good condition, but if not they will clean them for you. Their variety of movies is pretty wide.
