The Best way to eat Tempeh IMO is just a simple pan fry with some salt and sambal as condiments! :) BOS Tempeh tastes very authentic and fresh. I felt like I traveled back to Indonesia onto awesome Indonesian Warungs on every bite! The tempeh was also packaged wonderfully with beautiful graphics designs. BOStempeh also did great on their shipping…. My order was ship on Saturday received the following Monday (New Hampshire to Pennsylvania). Thank You BOStempeh Team! Best tempe we ever had outside Indonesia. The taste is authentic like what I used to eat in Jakarta. The owner BosTempe is pleasant to talk to. Delivery was a breeze. They even add a clear instructions with the delivery package on how to store them in the fridge/freezer. I definitely will keep re ordering more tempe on a regular basis as long as we live in the U.S.
I would highly recommend BosTempe if you want a tasty and authentic tempe for any kinds of recipes.

Got to buy their tempe at Aneka Market in Rochester, NH. The market owner said they just got the tempe that day and they were harvested yesterday. I almost gave up on eating tempe until I found Bostempeh. The taste and texture are exactly like the tempe I grew up with in Indonesia. Decided to make Tempe Mendoan out of it -which is tempe fritters- and paired with Kecap manis, it’s a match made in heaven! Can’t wait to eat more Bostempeh soon!

Been craving for some Sambel Tempeh, placed the order on Feb 07, 2022, and received it on Feb 14. It took some time to get it because they made it fresh based on the order and yes happy with the quality of the Tempe. Nice and secure packaging and took only 2 days to deliver in front of my door, definitely recommended 😊

This tempeh is perfection. Arrived in beautiful shape and is absolutely delicious. Fresh tempeh is far far better than any store brands- a must try in my opinion. I’m so excited to have found BOS and this tempeh will be a new staple in my diet.

Their tempeh is so good. Smooth, creamy texture, wonderful flavor. Good for simply sautéing, marinating and baking, adding to salad, pizza, or a lot of things in between. So much better than what I can get at the supermarket. I live on the other side of the US and it has always arrived in the mail no problem, no issues with spoiling.

Hands down, this is the best tempeh I have ever eaten. I’ve been a vegan for over 25 years and as such, have eaten more than my fair share of tempeh and soy products. This is one of the only soy products that did not cause me any GI distress, I think in part due to its very simple ingredients. It has a nice, light texture, crisps up well in a pan with or without oil and is delicious even without seasoning. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

It’s my 1st time trying it for my catering business, and wow I’m amazed at the taste of the BOS tempeh, it feels like eating tempeh in Indonesia. The texture is solid, and even when I cut thin slices, it doesn’t break. Love the fragrant of this tempeh too. The customer service very friendly and always quick respond. I highly recommend you to try this company, you won’t regret it!

My family and I have found Bostempeh to be superb! It has the color, texture, flavor and aroma reminiscent to the old days growing up in Indonesia. Not to mention the great benefits of tempeh in general, we love Bostempeh because it’s so authentically Indonesian, just like the tempeh we found at open marketplaces back in our Indonesian village. We have cooked Bostempeh as “bacon” chips, deep-fried tempeh, “rendang” tempeh, and I have used it for “lodeh” (Javanese stew of mixed vegetables in coconut milk), and we have found it all to be excellent.

Exceptional customer service! The tempeh is so fresh and delicious. I love that my tempeh comes from a small business. I also love knowing it is celiac friendly as most store bought tempeh is not gluten free and is very expensive. Bostempeh is a *very* good value! Will be ordering again!!

Just received my 2nd order from BOStempeh, and tore into it immediately to eat some straight from the package. I wouldn't normally do this with just any old tempeh, but BOStempeh is lovely. It has a creamy texture and THE best flavor I've ever encountered in a tempeh. With all of it's health benefits, I'm thrilled and this will definitely be on my menu's regular rotation. Fresh tempe and i like it

This is hands down the best tempeh I've ever had! No bitterness, perfect texture. It crisped up with very little oil and absorbs sauces and marinades great. Highly recommend!!
