We love Johnson’s Stepping Stone! The jalapeño burgers are SO delicious! They get a nice crisp on the patty that just takes it over the top! The onion rings are to die for! Steak bites are delicious too! Jalapeño chicken sandwich on Fridays are crispy and flavorful! Great service and great prices!

We went here for an early dinner around 5:30 on a tuesday. the place got more and more packed while we were there and we left the place full. Price point was good for the quality and quantity of food that they serve. We are looking forward to going ng back on a Thursday for the unlimited catfish 😇. on Wednesdays they have indian taco salad which is also a must try. I will update when we go back. the food was good so i recommend this place :3

Wife had Indian taco I was a quarter pound cheeseburger and son was fried chicken tenders...Everything was wonderful. Waitress was very polite and helpful. We will most definitely be coming back.

I just knew that my wife would order the Indian Taco. I just knew it! Wrong, she went with the Fish Basket, one of today’s specials. I followed her lead. A $10.99 value packed basket of food. Crispy coated fries, a school of fresh crusty hot moist catfish filets, great coleslaw, an odd looking, but delicious version of a hush puppy and a cup of perfect tartar sauce. Generous portions. You probably can’t eat it all.

The ladies serving were constantly checking on customer needs, always greeting with big personable smiles. You will feel like you are a local and a regular customer here.
The café is small, still packed with customers at 2:30 when we entered.

The Stepping Stone Café knows how to fry fish.

My first time here was on Thursday night. I’ve had catfish, hush puppies, tartar sauce, coleslaw, and pinto beans in many places over the years and this place was hands down the absolute BEST i’ve ever had!!!! I would give a 10 star review if they had 10 stars! The staff was the best, super friendly and made you feel like they really appreciated you being there. The fried okra was awesome as well. Definitely my go to place from now on for any type of home cooked food. The burgers looked wonderful and i hear the onion rings are the best you will ever eat in a restaurant!!

The burgers are the best! My husband has tried many delicious menu items. Loved them all. The burgers are so good, I can’t order anything else! It’s like stepping back in time. You are home!

This is a nice place, on the small side but it's worth a visit. The staff is friendly, the service is great, the food comes out quickly even though they were packed at the time. The chicken fried steak is really good. I didn't really care for the mashed potatoes, they tasted more like instant than real mashed potatoes but the gravy made up for it. The pinto beans were good as well. For less than $9 a plate it is definitely worth it, and one could easily spend that amount at fast food restaurants and not get near the quality. They do need to go a little lighter on the salad dressing, my tomatoes were drowning. Overall, this could easily be a go to place! Gotta try the delicious looking burgers next time.

We went there specifically for Wednesday lunch when one of their specials is Indian Tacos. I had a whole one and my wife had a half one and we had enough left over to eat the rest for dinner. The flavors of the combination of beans, taco meat, tomato, lettuce, and the wonderful taco base were wonderful. Well worth the try at something new. This place is great!

This was our first visit and we loved it! It is a family owned dinner. Everything is made from scratch! The Chicken Fried Steak and Hamburger Steak were excellent. The onion rings were hand dipped, not frozen and very yummy! Will definitely return to try other things!

This is a classic local business. Customer service and food were excellent! Portion sizes for the cost are great. Service was extremely fast. The inside is a little small and while we were eating, seats were getting filled up quickly. We tried grilled ham n cheese, chicken tenders, hotdog, and beef/chicken sticks. Everything was hot and flavorful. We will be back!

Are here during the corn festival, I’ve been here in the past and everything was great, no difference this time the food was amazing and they served WAY MORE for $10 than the $10 beef sandwich that the vendors were offering at the festival. Will be back ASAP!

Hands down the best diner I’ve ever been to. Anything and everything is delicious. Some must haves are:
Chicken fried steak dinner
Roast beef dinner
Indian tacos
Any of the burgers
Grilled chicken sandwich

Can’t go wrong ever eating at Johnson’s!

I could eat here every day of the week! We’ve never had a bad dish here and we go often with our large family. Wednesday night Indian Tacos are amazing as is Saturday’s special of chicken and dumplings. Be prepared to wait and call ahead if you plan to go Saturday as they regularly run out but they’ll set you some aside if you call. Same with the strawberry pie any day of the week.

Charming staple in Bixby. Come early very popular place. Friendly staff and exceptional down home food. Full plates and reasonable prices. We really enjoyed ourselves.

This place should be listed as one of the Top places to eat in Oklahoma, hands down. Great mom and pop shop with the uttermost best tasting foods around. I order the vegetable beef soup just to have some around the house to eat anytime I want. The chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak dinners are fantastic and even better the next day as a leftover for lunch.

Absolutely Fabulous Place in Tulsa County. Don't be upset when you call and can't get ahold of them as that's how busy they are. Best to go in and order as the wait time isn't long at all. Fast Service and Terrific Food!
