I love this bow shop! They are very nice and always willing to help. They have a great outdoor range. They set my daughter up with some lessons and they really helped her. Good group of honest and hard-working guys.

What an awesome experience. The employees are very friendly and very knowledgeable and the archery department. They make you feel at home. It's obvious they care about their customers and want their customers to be successful bow hunters as well. The experiences that I have encountered dealing with them has been nothing less than great. I would recommend this place to anyone for their archery needs. Anytime I go to shop there, I have never felt forced or pushed into purchasing anything. You get that sense that, if "we" the customers aren't happy or satisfied they actually take the initiative and try to help you as much as they can, Just helping to narrow down some of the different options you may have!

Came in to have the peep and my draw length set on my Amazon bought bow. Guys were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They interacted with my kids as well. I'll be coming back to here for all my archery needs in the future far and away better than the other places I've been locally.

Great, friendly service! I took my son’s bow in for a tuneup and was very pleased with the service from the knowledgeable staff. They took the time to adjust the draw weight and length with him. Picked up some arrows before we left and was pleasantly surprised at the low cost of it all! Highly recommend!

We took our son to get his bow fitted and Nathan, the owner, was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable. It was an awesome experience and we will be back again soon!

If you are looking for a Bow shop that knows how to take care of a customer, then this is the Bow shop for you. I recently purchased a new compound bow for my 10 year old as a birthday present. They took all of the time to properly set the bow up for him, gave him pointers on using it, and generally made him feel comfortable with it. We ended up at Buttermilk Creek after going to a "Big Box" sporting goods store and the person working knew nothing about Bows. We then went to another shop that sold Bows. That shop we spent 30 minutes looking and no one helped us despite the 1 person working seeing us and there was no other customers in the archery section the whole time we were there. That should have been the clue early on to leave. At the same time as getting my son comfortable, they answered tons of questions that I had as well and made me much more familiar with Bows and archery in general. This was well worth the 45 minute drive from Durham to their location. My son is loving his birthday present and it is nice to see shops like this that spend this kind of time with you whether you spend $400 or $4000. Thank you Buttermilk Creek Outfitters for providing an A+ Customer Experience along with a Top notch bow setup. My 10 year old loves his Birthday present. It would have saved me tons of time if I had read some reviews before starting shopping. It would have made BMC the first place I went shopping. Looking at the reviews posted here, I would echo many of the ones posted. A+++++++++

Today was my first time using BMC, I went to the Flemming graham rd. location and met Carson and another gentlemen his name has slipped sorry, anyways they were some of the nicest guys and were completely understanding about the issue i had with my bow, they fixed it and checked every inch to make sure it was safe for use and didn't cost barely anything. I was so pleased i bought a hat and some more arrows. And I did not know Carson was the owner till i got back and checked out their website cause I was that satisfied, you would have never guessed it, he was down to earth/ friendly/ and hard working. I would love to go hunt with them any day. will never go to another store for my bow again customer for life.

I went here to check out bows on the recommendation from a friend. I am new to Archery aside from some summers in the 80's at camp. I took the scenic route through the country. Upon my arrival it didn't look open, but I decided to try the door , which opened right up. I was immediately greeted by Nate. I told him I didn't know a thing about archery but wanted to get into the sport. He asked me what my budget was and we went from there. He took the time to show me several bows and shoot some. I decided on a used bow. All said and done we spent about an hour and half getting everything right. Nate set the bow up and adjusted it for me. He put on a sight we went out back and tuned it in. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Needless to say, this will be my go to shop.

The people there are great helped answered the question I needed to know and give me some pointers tuned my bow professional and helpful and the range outside is awesome to sight in your bow if you have a minute spare definitely recommend this place for beginners and pro's

I called Carson very late in the spring turkey season looking for a guided hunt, and he graciously made time available for me to hunt. He set me up with CJ (guide) for a morning hunt, and I swear, when CJ first let loose with his calling, I thought he snuck a hen in his pocket.
We hunted three fields, and that third one produced a really worked-up gobbler. CJ fell back, calling just the right amount to lure that lonesome tom in... he was inside of 15m when I shot. I think CJ was as excited as I was to fill my tag, which just makes things that much more fun.
Carson came by to check out the trophy gobbler, my first Eastern subspecies. These fellas were incredible in every aspect of the day. They know their birds and their calls, but most important, they are good guys. I cannot stress that last fact enough. No one can register 100% success, but these fellas make darn sure that they put in 100% effort for their customers. I would recommend this business without hesitation to any hunter.
