I highly recommend this restaurant.

My family of 6 was passing through and ended up needing a place to eat. Though the restaurant looks unassuming, it is a sleeper gem.

✅ The service was great with the waitress checking in at the right times and making sure we had what we needed. Good work, Candy!

✅ It was very kid friendly. Having 4 young kids can draw ire from patrons and staff of any restaurant, even if they are well-behaved. We felt welcome there👍

✅ The food was fantastic! They had the BEST fries I think I've ever had. Our burgers were great too - with a nice selection of styles to choose from. The kid's chicken strip meals were also impressive too. Probably the best I've tasted.

✅ The prices were very reasonable too

We will be stopping by again in the future if life allows. You should definitely eat here.

This is a great restaurant. The French Frys are the best I've had. Great Menu, Beer selection and service. Big difference since the name change to the Blue Oyster. The roast beef dinner melts in your mouth. Husband had the German burger and loved it. Can't wait to go back again.

I had the hangover burger with onion rings. Quite good. Lucked out and they had a maple stout. Sure glad to see that.
My wife had the Georgia Peach pasta. She said it was very good.

My wife's steak Sandwich was delicious , my bourbon street pasta. Was outstanding.
Definitely will return, and the atmosphere was very pleasing.

Pleasantly surprised to find a new favorite restaurant.

Truly excellent food! It’s hard to find a good bacon blue burger now a days and they absolutely nailed it. Definitely will be back.

What a find! We had a frustrating day of travel and camped close by at Lum Park. A random choice of restaurants took us here. We each got a burger and fries. BEST FRIES EVER!!! The burger was good but the fries were a curled homemade slice of potato. Lightly seasoned, cooked just enough. (Although crispier wouldn't have bothered me). Mike liked the beer choices. It was a great way to unwind. Our server was very nice! We had no trouble parking right out the door. Too bad I don't live in the area, I'd go often.

Excellent! We had a group of 8 and had called ahead. Our table was ready abd the food and wait staff were great.

Only eaten here once, but the food and service was great! It's a typical bar turned eatery vibe.

Great food and cold beer just as advertised. I like the beef stroganoff. The wife had coconut shrimp and home made tots, which she said were very good. Great service.

Great food. This bar/restaurant was sold to a new owner who also owns the Drunken Noodle in Fargo and Crosby. The team continues to update and innovate the menu! Clever menu options on the way and the cooks/chefs do a wonderful job out of their tiny kitchen! Will definitely go again and look forward to trying out the new menus to come! Only wish they had more space!

This place has amazzzzzing food and drink. FIRST TIME HERE BUT OMG... Reno and Toby did our group proper. We came in at 845 15 mins before close and they treated us great. Toby don't like pics but he keeps this place tight and right. RENO IS the bartender and you better be ready for a greT drink... I love this place .. you'll love it to.

Best food I've had in along time. Highly recommend. Bartender was amazing and hilarious and the manager is very professional and on top of it. The hangover burger is a must and the fries are to die for!! Be back soon.

Neat old place in Brainerd. $10 Burger Monday!! Had dat Cowboy Burger. No taste or smell thanks to Wuhan, but texture was awesome! Hope to go back when I can taste food again 🙄

Food is amazing, cooks and bartenders are amazing and the atmosphere is awesome. Way better than anything else in Brainerd!

Locally owned place with scratch made food. Great atmosphere and decor. Beef stroganoff and rib tips were delicious. A true gem to find in the Baxter/Brainerd area.

Nice varied menu. Good beer variety on tap, lots if local choices. Great ambiance! Go there - local !!!

Loved the fries (sliced potatoes fried with seasoning) buger was great and drinks were cold

I was in town for a week and ended up eating lunch here every day. The staff was fantastic and the food was amazing. The egg rolls and Mac and cheese bites were great. The soup each day was also amazing. (The Reuben and chicken parm soyps were probably my favorite) all around a great place to grab a bite with fantastic, friendly staff.

I found the food to be very good, very hot, and very tasty! My lunch partner and myself shared the Frickles, Egg Rolls, and the Burnt Pork Ends. Our server was as friendly and accommodating as she can possibly be!
