The home made ice cream served here is some of the best we have eaten. Eating it with their homemade waffle cones makes it complete. The serving size is generous. The animals around the farm and clean barns make it a great place for young kids.

Loved this ice cream! Got a black cherry milkshake, raspberry and black cherry ice cream. It was rich, similar to Gelato. Enjoyed every bit of it. Would 100% come back. Also got a cola and citris twist soda which have natural cane sugar just like the Mexican cokes.

I love ice cream & I eat it everywhere I go. I’ve been fortunate enough to try ice cream from around the world & this has to be the very best I’ve ever tasted! So smooth, creamy, flavorful, just perfect. Plus the homemade waffle cone, wow! Highly recommend the Peanut Butter Ripple.

We stumbled upon this place while on a fantastic guided Amish tour & I will be looking for any excuse I can to make another visit to Lapp Valley Farm!

NEW UPDATE FOR OCT 2023 W/NEW Photos!!!

Hello my Friends,

I made another pilgrimage to Lapp Valley Farm and wanted to add more pictures to entice you further. Like I say below, still the best ice cream you will ever taste. But you also get magnificent views and a nice variety of farm animals ( calves - love to be pet, cats of all ages, and horses). Your little ones will fall in love with the whole experience. If you never been, make the trip! Free parking and touring the farm is generously free.

The best ice cream you will ever taste - fresh cream and ingredients. Unlike processed ice cream, it never loses flavor. Every bite is just as delicious as the one before it. Not to mention, you get the added pleasure of the views and even petting the calves!

( They also have farm fresh butter, cheese and eggs for sale.)

What a fun place! There are cows eating silage right there, and one can pet them. There are sweet calves that may also be cuddled and pet. There is a children's play area right there, as well as indoor and outdoor tables for enjoying the delicious ice cream. The drive there may be the best part. It's always amazing driving through New Holland's beautifully manicured farms with a kaleidoscope of green farm fields.

Absolutely the best hand made ice cream and waffle cones I've ever had! There's a drive through around the side and a playground for paying customers. The people who work there are kind and friendly. There's plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy your delicious dessert.

It's a great experience! We got to meet the cows who provided the milk for our ice cream!

Delicious Ice Cream!! Scenery is beautiful!! You can walk around and visit the cows. They have a lot of nice seating around to enjoy your ice cream. Freshly made right in front of you waffle cones. Prices were extremely reasonable. Ice cream is all home made. They even have a drive thru, (cars & horse&buggies) which was very busy when we went. If your in the area it's a must visit!

Best ice cream in the north east. Great flavors, great cones. You bet to pet the cows and watch them get milked at 4pm. A must go for the entire family.

I love the ice cream here we take a 30mins ride to go to this place once in 4months and a good one for the price they offer, we takeaway milk and waffles cones for sure from here. It’s worth the drive along the fields for the views and to take a walk around the farm.

Delicious ice cream in a beautiful setting. The raspberry is our favorite, but the coconut was a close second. The fresh chocolate milk is divine.
Ladies please be aware of their request of your attire so as not to offend them as shown on their sign.

Awesome little ice cream place off the main roads! It was really neat to see the cows at all different life stages. The homemade ice cream was great. I got the cookies and cream in a freshly made waffle cone and my niece got the chocolate in a regular cone. When you walk into the shop it smells like heaven. They also sell farm fresh milk, ice cream cake and ice cream to take home for later. I see us visiting Lapp Valley a lot this summer!!

Love visiting this place when I’m near Lancaster! Smells delicious as soon as you walk in! It’s especially pretty during spring - there’s an outside seating area and it’s just so pretty to look at! The inside has a great selection of ice cream you can either pick up to take home and you can order in store too to enjoy outside! They also have a drive thru, which is nest! In the back they have an outside playground for the kids and right behind it you can watch the cute cows!

Great tasting flavorful ice cream. I had one scoop of maple walnut in a waffle cone. Where is the picture of that? Well is looked so delicious I ate it before I even thought to snap a picture! Was thinking to go back and get another one..... But I opted not to. If you are in the area you need to stop by and sample the ice cream your self. You'll be glad you did!

I drove all the way from VA to this place for their ice cream and it was worth it! They have many different flavors and the lady who worked there allowed me taste many of them until I found my favorite. Their ice cream is so rich in flavor and dense! It is made with the milk from their dairy farm so the quality is guaranteed!

Another great Amish dairy with awesome fresh ice cream. When you walk inside the sweet smell of waffles hangs in the air as one of the girls makes fresh waffle cones. All the girls were quick to scoop and serve with another at the register to check out. One of the top shops I have had ice cream from in the area. Will be back.

The word remarkable came to mind when I put a spoon full of Lapp valley ice cream into my mouth, the rich smooth flavor with the creamy texture was out of this world.
They truly are masters of their craft!

We stopped at Lapp Valley Farm to get some home made ice cream. The store had 20 ppl in line at 5:40 pm. All milk, cream etc. are from the same farm and coconut ice cream I had was delicious. As a group we had cookies and cream and butter pecan ice cream in the waffle cone made in the store. All were delicious. If you love ice cream, it is a great place that you must try. You can walk around the farm and see cows being milked in the evening hrs. Check the web for updates.

While at Kitchen Kettle Village, my family and I noticed the Lapp Valley Farms ice cream stand. We had to get a waffle cone. Each of us enjoyed our cones. The ice cream was deliciously creamy and full of flavor. A couple days later, I brought my youngest son to the farm and visited the calves and enjoyed a visit into the store where we both got butter brickle cones. Yum! Yum! We will be back!!
