Sharonville Shooting Range

What a great place that we need to take advantage of more often. Make sure you check their sign as their days and hours of operation change based on the day and month of the year.

Always wear your ear protection when you're walking up to check in. They do offer you some foam eat plugs if you forgotten yours.

Every 20 minutes they have you clear your station and allow you to go retrieve, or set up, your paper targets. You cannot shoot without targets.

They offer a handgun section as well as four shot gun sections (100, 75, 50, & 25 yard set ups)

Great atmosphere
They have spotting scopes to use and very safe. Will be going back. Several areas to use bows and guns of all calibers

A very nice and well run gun range. The pistol range seems to be the most popular and you might have a wait but it won’t be long. The other longer range booths are usually wide open and they have an area for trap shooting. Be sure to listen and follow the rules and you will have a great time.

The range master runs a tight ship here. A large amount of time, effort, and expense went into settings up this range. I highly recommend it for all your shooting needs from 25 to 100 yards.

Dan and Paul we're extremely helpful. I struggled a little bit sighting in my new 450 Bushmaster. They offered some assistance and it worked incredibly well. The facility is very clean including the restrooms. Very basic rules but very safe environment. Highly recommend this facility and their workers.

A variety of options for sighting in rifles or just becoming a better marksman. This DNR shooting range is very safe with trained officers during all hours of operation. At an unbeatable price it's definitely worth the drive.

Great outdoor range. Chris made sure we knew all the rules and accommodations the range had. great staff clean well kept range. Even the bathroom was spotless that just doesn't happen at outdoor ranges will be going back for sure.

This range is supervised by DNR officers that not only keep everyone safe by enforcing the strick range rules, they are full of knowledge of weapon's and ammo. All you need do is ask. Great place to take someone learning gun safety and handling.

Great range and nice people. Strict rules but they aren't rude when enforcing them. Not a good range for self defense training but if you're just looking to sight in your firearms or you want to take a first timer shooting, this is a great place to go.

I go here at least once a month. Open all year round. The staff and rules are strict, which should be appreciated with firearms around you. They are also some of the best staff I have ever experienced, I had the pleasure to chat with several different crews every single one was courteous, pleasant, knowledgeable and all around helpful. Ready and willing to chat with you about anything, especially firearms!

If you are looking for a nice controlled range to go and hobby shoot with your wife or your buddies go here. Bring sandwiches cuz its out in the middle of no where, but it is a beautiful date especially in the summer!

I have been shooting out to Sharon Valley for years. They have made nice improvements and the staff is great. Once you understand the basic rules it's very easy going. The rules are designed for everyone's safety and if you are a first timer to the location they don't jump all over you if your doing something wrong. They will explain what the rules are. If the staff has had to raise their voice to you it's because your not listening and your not safe. I've only seen it once and I'm glad the staff did their job. Great range, is just wish they had longer range shooting!

Excellent and in my top 2 public, state ranges in the USA. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and operate a safe range. My family has taken advantage of plinking with 22’s, sighting in and practicing marksmanship. The designated pistol range is the worst part, for me. The shooting lanes feel closterfobic but serve their intended purposes. The archery range is wonderful and the trap too.
I’d love to volunteer at this range in my retirement. You could easily work with a high school shooting team here and the pavilion offers plenty of shade and the restrooms are clean well cared for.

Great free shooting range! Awesome clean bathrooms (lol it is a big deal when an hour from home). Even when packed, on the Sunday before opening day, everything went efficiently and smoothly. 25, 50, and 100 yard rifle ranges are ran by DNR guys who are very respectful and nice. There is also an archery range and trap shoot... Totally a 5-star experience.

The staff are polite and take safety very seriously. Amenities include 25 yard, 50 yard, and 100 yard lanes with a 10 yard pistol lane, plus trap shooting and archery lane. There is also a modern bathroom and drinking fountain on site.

A gem! The staff was great! Took the kids for their first time at a shooting range. The staff was great with them, carefully explained the rules to them, were helpful, and were very friendly!
