Highly recommend this place!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!! Gloria was super helpful and super nice! She made sure we had everything we needed. My husband and I ordered the quesadilla + tacos plate and the gordita + taco plate. Everything was excellent including the chips + salsa and the rice + beans that came with our plates.

Back in Dodge City after a few years and decided to try this again since I loved it so much last time - it’s just as good if not better. I had the Gordita and taco plate and the pollo and carnitas were some of the best I had anywhere. They both were just super flavorful and seasoned perfectly. I see some reviews complain the salsa is too hot - and yeah it is hot but it tastes. So. Good! If you think it’s too hot for you just ask to skip it. In a city with lots of awesome authentic Mexican and central American places to eat this is a stand out in my view.

Colorful restaurant. If you come here you need to dine in one of their booths. The salsa is especially good. A little on the spicy side but I'm an addict to it now. I love the carne asada plate. I've never left here hungry or sad.

The best taco I’ve had in a long time! The salsa is spicy and absolutely amazing. It’ll be a regular stop in my travels. Also open after everything else was closed. (Others have said poor customer service as a white guy, totally not my experience!)

I love eating here. The food is deliciously authentic, great value, and the salsa is A+ amazing! The atmosphere is so friendly and clean. I really enjoy the tall booths and the artwork in the restaurant. Thanks for always having the best food when I am visiting in Dodge City!👍

Usually stop when in the area. Has always been my go to spot .. Ordered 2 carnita and 1 steak taco with lettuce and cheese, salsa on the side.. They never disappoint. Carnita and steak had flavor and not just heavily seasoned.. tortillas were good not dry and raw.

Very yummy salsa! Al pastor tacos yummy also. This place is legit. Great service too!

This place is truly authentic Mexican! So for those that have rated it poorly, I have a feeling they weren’t expecting truly real Mexican food. You go up and order and pay, then you find a table and sit down with a number, they bring it out to you, and you get your own silverware. The food was omg delicious! I got a #1 which is a combo meal with a taco and a burrito and I got beef for the meat. Everything was handmade and worth every bite!! For drinks, they have homemade horchata and a couple juices, Mexican Coca-Cola, Jarritos, and more. It’s a tasty selection and the other awesome part was that they sell Mexican ice cream/popsicles that looked delicious! I highly suggest eating here if you like authentic Mexican food!!
One review talked about not very nice staff but I’m wondering if that was interpreted wrongly. The staff speak English but to a small extent and I truly believe they wanted to help as much as they could and our cashier told us to take our time when we said we didn’t know what we wanted. Also, someone in the reviews talked about the smell. Walking in you walk right by the bathrooms and I will admit it didn’t smell great but that just means my party didn’t sit near there and everything was fine! To address the complaints about it being expensive, everything around the world is more expensive than it used to be! When you account for the handmade tortillas and salsa and cooking authentic meat etc, it is not that expensive at all and having those handmade things makes it worth more. We happily paid and were content and full by the end! If I had even the slightest complaint, it would be that when somebody picks music from the jukebox that it is pretty loud but people there seemed to enjoy it and my party was eating, not talking, and so it was just fine!

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at Tacos Jalisco! The food was delicious and well seasoned. We asked if we could have a refill on the chips and when the last that was cleaning tables brought to us, she asked for a dollar. We didn't even have a US dollar on us and she didn't seem too impressed! But over all the food was authentically good and atmosphere fun!

Best Mexican food place ever! If you're in Dodge, you have to eat here.

What a surprise to find great tacos in Dodge City. We had all the tacos, and they were all good. The Al Pastor were not the best, but they were not bad, and their cabeza tacos were amazing. Salsa was also great

The tacos were delicious and the order takers very friendly. Very clean and comfortable.

I’m from Chicago and was passing by I stop order the taco dinner they tasted good the tortilla was a little soggy to my liking but late at night wasn’t bad. Rice tasted good with flavor and vegetables in it the orchata was a little bit too sweet over all good place clean and fast service. Three taco dinner and a large Horchata was $18.
