I recently visited Lys Beauty to get Bohemian braids and I couldn't be happier with the results!! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for professional and top-notch hairbraiding services. I'll definitely be returning.

I’ve been to this shop a few times for the last few years and every time I come, what I ask for is exactly what I get. I especially love that the braiders aren’t too firm while braiding as I’m tender-headed.

I’d been looking for a Black owned hair store and discovered Lys’! After going a couple times for hair products, I realized there was also a salon for braiding/twists etc. I tried out yesterday and I’m so happy I did! Fast, comfortable, and loved the end result (Senegalese twists, waist length). Convenient Bonus: hair can be purchased right there; the correct hair for the style you want! One stop shop. Be sure to include how long you want your hair in the notes if you book online so they can provide enough time in between clients. Christelle was GREAT! Ambiance bonus: the music, I Shazammed so many songs, got a whole new playlist 🎶🥰.

I’m sooo glad to finally have a beauty supply store in my neighborhood! This place has all of the hair and beauty care products I use, friendly staff, and great music playing too!!! There’s a salon in the back too, so it’s very convenient. Helene did my hair when I went in, crochette braids...omg..LOVE!! She was so so Fast! And my hair is flawless! The owner is also super friendly which is always a plus for me. I definitely recommend this store and the salon for all of your hair care needs!!!

I'm so excited that I don't have to drive to manassas for products or to get my hair done. They have an extensive line of products and the prices for the things I checked are better than the other places. I got my hair braided today and I'll be going there from now on. I don't know who the owner is but the girl that did my hair was cool.
Tip: If you have a sensitive scalp or you dont want to lose hair, blowout/straighten your own hair if you are getting braids.

Came in to get knotless braids, had a good experience. The stylist was so nice and friendly. Will be coming back in a few weeks to get another style.
