Hen House Fried Chicken Company

Two piece thigh and leg with green beans, biscuit, and unsweet tea. Fantastic! The chicken came out smoking hot and was crispy and juicy. Green beans were so flavorful. I wish I would've gotten more of them. The biscuit was warm and tasted great with honey. Pretty good tea, too. I wish it was open at night because I totally would've eaten it again for dinner. Super nice staff and the food came out pretty quickly.

Let me start off by saying that this chicken sandwich was really tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries weren't too soft or crispy, but were hot and delicious. I had the Farm House sandwich with lettuce, tomato, pickles and a yummy sauce. The "Orero" cookie isn't actually an Oreo but it is soft and delicious. My only regret is not coming here more.

I wouldn't have stopped in this place if someone hadn't told me about it but I am glad I did! The food was amazing! The service was amazing! I have drove past this place for the past 2 months and didn't think it was anything much as the outside just looks like another strip mall eatery. However the inside is a well decorated and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend getting the biscuits and anything on the menu will leave you satisfied!

I am visiting from out of state and my dad recommended this place so we went and it was great friendly service and also extremely fast. Got our food within five minutes.. best biscuit, best potatoes, and best chicken of my life definitely will be returning in the future. If I could give this place 38764799 stars I would.

I had the 3 tender meal and was pleasantly surprised at the taste. Great flavor and not mass produced chicken tenders. Mashed potatoes and gravy were on point! Solid choice for food while at Fort Leonard Wood.

The reviews aren't kidding when they say the biscuits are incredible. Fun little place with very very tasty food and the sweet tea is perfectly balanced between sweet and leaf. Chicken was juicy and crisp as was the catfish. Portion size was just about perfect and the taters and gravy were spot on. I think the most unique thing about this place though is the hours of operation. What a weird and quirky selection of times to be open 😂😂😂😂 but as the hostess proclaimed, "you'll remember us!" Yes I will remember and make this my stop off anytime I'm in the area and you should too, if you want some great tasting home made food.

Great place for dine in or takeout. Loved their fresh tenders. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was excellent as well. Friendly service and employees who allowed us to stay past closing were a plus. Really can’t go wrong with any options on the menu. Highly recommended for your fast casual dining needs!

Food was good and you get a lot of it for the money. I got the 3 piece combo (a leg, thigh and breast meat) for $7 and the pieces were huge and well cooked. I especially liked the gravy with the mashed potatoes, it was delicious!

This is the best fried chicken I've ever had! And I've had a lot. Crispy outside, juicy inside. Seasoning is spot on. And their pieces come from full-grown chickens! Unlike other places that seem to get pygmy chickens.

Will definitely come back and try the entire menu. Ordering is the same process as Route 66 Taco’s, you can order to go or eat in with table service. The employees are very nice. The food is made fresh and with authentic flavors. I tried the buff chicken sandwich and it’s the best in Saint Robert. Good music choice as well.

A great funky little joint for chicken! I do love their fried catfish, too! The desserts are so good!! They will vary, so I have tried several, and all are worth it!!

Good fried chicken and great seevice. Come on the weekend for chicken and waffles. This place is easy to miss, I'm glad I stopped in. I won't be visiting any other places for all my chicken needs.

Everyone at work was telling me the chicken here was good and I’m glad I tried because it’s hella good. The Nashville fire sauce is super spicy so be aware!! I think everything is home made here too, at least it seems like it.
I got the weekend brunch sliders.

Located next to and owned by the gentleman who owns the Route 44 Taco Company, this is some tasty food. Chicken, Shrimp, Wings, and Catfish this place knows their food. The items are freshly battered and fried or sauteed. Top notch. The biscuits are homemade, covered in honey and Hot Honey is available. I tried the mashed potatoes on the side and was impressed. The herbed gravy taste like home. Not salty, perfectly seasoned, and no lumps. I tried a sampling of coleslaw also. Not sweet, just creamy and tasty. The Hen House is a must.

They had the best fried chicken & mashed potatoes & gravy I've ever eaten! KFC ain't got nothing on the Hen House. I HIGHLY recommend!🤤😋

We at at the Hen House while in town attending our sons graduation from basic training. The service and food were awesome! I hope anyone going to Fort Leonard Wood will choose to support local businesses like them rather than the big chains!

Been there twice. Had the three piece each time. Mashed potatoes was my side one time and the other was the rice jambalaya. Their chicken is outstanding! Crispy skin, moist meat even the breast, and the biscuits were amazing!

OMG! Why did I wait so long to try this place out?? I finally stopped by for lunch to take home. I wasn’t sure how to order so I just told the young lady what I wanted and she hooked me up. The fried chicken was on point, not greasy, very tasty and still plenty warm by the time I got home. What made this meal even better where the mashed potatoes and biscuits. The mash had a special distinct flavor. Wife thinks they use yogurt in the blend. The biscuits were huge, beautiful crusty top with honey taste. Definitely going back! Place doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s nice inside. Has quirky farmhouse feel that makes it a nice place to eat in.

The Nashville fire has a nice little kick to it. Their biscuits are some of the best biscuits I have had in my life.

The team at the Hen House have Never let us down! Excellent food, great variety, there sides are amazing! Owner has taken time to perfect signature item on menu, nothing that's just like everywhere else.
