Village Grill

Our waitress was very attentive and patient. We came in with a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and she took us in her section without a problem (there was another waitress that would not take on our party when the hostess asked). She checked on us frequently, the food was great, and overall great experience.

Edit: We visited last Saturday and I cannot remember the name of our waitress. She was an older lady with brown colored hair.

I stopped in for breakfast while working out of town and the service was excellent! Patty was my waitress and she was so sweet and friendly. She makes it a point to remember regular's orders and makes everyone feel like they are eating with family. Even if I was dining by myself. If I am every working in Kankakee again I will definitely be coming back :)

Wednesday night dinner. Had chicken fried steak. Extra gravy. Was delicious. Always clean and friendly atmosphere. Free dessert on Wednesday if you get a drink. Staff is friendly and attentive. Recommend.

My wife and I stopped by the Village Grill for an afternoon meal. It was the first time we've been there. The cream of broccoli soup was fantastic. Next time I go there, I'm just going to order six bowls of that! I had the cod dinner and my wife had the chop steak dinner. They were both very good. It was Free Dessert night, so we had pie. They were both very good. Our waitress was Dawn. She was efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. We'll be back.

We recently visited Bradley. We are from Indiana and the Village Grill was highly recommended to us. We had a wonderful time. The waitresses were the best. They were very friendly and everything on the menu sounded delicious. The meatloaf, slaw, and hamburger soup were great and hit the spot after a long drive. The atmosphere was clean, family friendly, and decorated nicely. The portions were nice and the food is reasonably priced. I would definitely love go back if we were in the area again!!

The food is delicious. Free pie Wednesdays many to chose from! Very clean & friendly wait staff.

We have been here for breakfast many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always cooked just right. Love the waitresses there too. They are the sweetest.

First time at the restaurant. The atmosphere is very laid back. They actually have meals for customers that are on very strict weight loss programs. The service was excellent. The food was really good and the prices were not bad. All in all we would highly recommend the Village Grill. If you are in the area stop in and enjoy a very good meal in a laid back restaurant. The waitress was great.

LOVED IT!! We met family here and we both drove an hour and this was where we met for dinner. Loved our waitress, loved our hostess (owner I believe), and the food was fantastic!! We have a new favorite restaurant to meet at!!

I went there with my dad and he saw staff that he hasn't seen in decades and it was like a mini reunion. Our waitress Pam was an absolute SWEETHEART and her service goes above and beyond as she made us and every other patron seem like family. She earned over a hundred percent tip on the meal and I have absolutely no issues whatsoever giving her this again the next time I'm in Kankakee. Village grill has tastefully prepared food and the speed was impressive from ordering to table. This is will definitely be my go to restaurant when I come back to Kankakee.

Me and my man came here for the first time a few days ago, have been looking for a new breakfast spot! Decided on village grill, our waitress was literally so sweet! I didn’t get her name but very attentive and all around a great meal! Definitely will be back!

Our experience was amazing! I love that this place is small and personal. One of the people in our group has a severe allergy to milk, and they were so willing and able to accommodate our extra needs. The food was delicious and filling without being too much. We will be back.

Great experience here last weekend. Had the beer battered fish and chips and it was superb. Great service too! 👍
