I can't thank both Sheryl and Heather enough for helping me locate a package. An order was placed and the incorrect zip code was used. The package ended up in Purcellville. With their help, we were able to finally locate the package and correct the address. Thank you so very much! :)

Stopped by to ship an important delivery on April 15th, and despite the numbers of people there to post tax related, the clerks were professional, competent and a pleasure to work with. The line moved quickly.

I’ve had no life altering problems with this post office. It’s a small town post office and in general post offices are struggling with resources due to what happened during COVID and changes from top down.

Everyone’s been nice to me here. Sometimes things arrive late but they arrive. I think they’re doing their best.

This morning I called the post office in search of a missing package mailed to NJ last week. I spoke with Tammy who was exceptionally helpful in providing information. She was able to give me the address where the missing package was delivered three days ago, and also the name and number for the local NJ postmaster in order to further track the mail piece. Several phone calls later, I am happy to report the package was delivered to the correct address this afternoon!
I noticed a number of BAD reviews about this post office and I’m sorry to see it. I’ve been a Purcellville resident for over 20 years and while there have been a handful of ‘abrasive’ encounters with employees, I’d safely say 95% of the interactions with staff members have been very pleasant and positive.

Although it's smaller this post office is well equipped to deal with all of my needs, and they are able to easily answer questions I have about what services but am needing. Since I mail a lot of things overseas back home I am confident that when I come here I will get what I need and not get conned into adding a bunch of tracking or insurance that I don't need. Helpful bunch!

Just shipped a very odd size package and Jasmine made it possible for me, not only I was aboe to ship it in a really reasonable price she made sure my item is fully secure and sealed! thank you so much

I was there today 10/24/2022. Nina was my customer service representative that waited on me. She was very professional and friendly. All the employees at this location are very helpful.

I see all the complaints and I was compelled to write. I have used the Purcellville Post Office MANY times. The staff is pleasant and helpful. They routinely go out of the way to make sure that I am satisfied - and I am.

I have had nothing but good experiences so far. The staff at the office are always friendly and our delivery drivers are amazing.

Horrible service. They do not take care of your package. They lose packages on a regular basis, and think it's ok because they have a not fun job, so oh well. Very rude delivery people that will throw your package instead of taking five more steps. No accountability. Even if your package arrives, they always add an extra day at the last second. Avoid them at all costs. I am no longer shopping online due to how horrible they are.

Edited 11/22/22 Service has gotten much better. Anytime there has been an issue, which has only been a couple times, they immediately fixed it. Delivery times are usually right on or a day earlier than expected.

Staff is courteous, helpful, and efficient. They remember me and greet me in a positive manner.

So I would rate this 0 stars if I hadn’t called today and spoke with a very helpful, very nice gentleman named Stewart. So here’s the situation: I am waiting for a signature required package, delivery was attempted at 8:21am, and stated no one home at the time, when my husband was home at the time...no problem I went on and changed delivery to pick up at post office, got confirmation that package was available for pickup at 1:45p. I work in DC so left work early to make sure I could make it by 5, got there by 4:45p, waitedin line, got to a very rude clerk who looked in book said it was there went to back and came back saying it wasn’t and it must have been delivered...impossible, I had received confirmation that it was at post office, so I show her the email and she replies well I just looked and it’s not😡 I couldn’t get a hold of my husband at the time so I thought maybe the computer tracking was just off. Nope when I got home no package!! Completely unexceptable...clearly the package wasn’t exactly where she thought it should be (it’s a saddle so a big item) and she was too lazy to continue looking for it.
So I call this morning and if I hadn’t spoke with Stewart who found the package immediately, without even so much as putting me on hold, and telling me if I had trouble getting there by 5 he would be there a bit later if need be.... this review would have been 0 stars if I could. I wish I could do 2 ratings 0 for the aweful women (wish I had gotten her name) from yesterday and 5 stars for Stewart! Thank you Stewart!!
