OK, so the location is a bit shady...
And the building doesn't look like a post office from across the street. I almost doubted google maps for bringing me here when I searched for the nearest post office.
The building is old and raggedy, and the inside looks like it could really use some dusting.
But, customer service was top notch for me.
I don't usually expect good customer service at post offices.
And no, this wasn't the kind of service with a friendly smile and how can I help you. It was more of a, "next! Do you need stamps?" kind of service. But I get that at every post office I've been to. So kind of expected.
But, the lady working with me was very efficient, and helped me save some bucks by trying out a different box when I didn't ask for any of that. It was very kind. I respect that.

I went here for help with a passport renewal. Had all the documents ready for them by researching everything online first-- They were super helpful and knowledgeable about the process and applying through the mail. The man at the counter was really great and only slightly snarky (in a good way). Would recommend.

They help me ship my orders, and they do it with a smile, and suggestions on how to save me money.

I've only been there once and while the building is old, I had great customer service while verifying a change of address.

I want to give a huge shout out to the workers at the West Allis post office. I had ordered some thing online and my sender put the wrong ZIP Code which made my package lost for while. I needed this item for an upcoming trip And the employees worked very hard to locate this package. I just want to publicly say thank you and that I extremely appreciate everything you did. If you think the Post office does not care about your mail that’s a lie. They have proven otherwise and I am extremely grateful Tracy Lopez.

I had a wonderful experience with Jill at this USPS location! She was absolutely fabulous. I was shipping a present to Australia and she helped answer all my questions, as well as assure me it would make it across the world safely. Thanks Jill!

9 times out of 10, I have a pleasant experience at this location. I visit this office sometimes several times per week to ship my eBay packages. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

Mike there gave me a heads up about a possible scam involving freight forwarders and eBay. Sure enough, both the sellers I was about to ship to had plenty of bad reviews against their address. Saved me the hassle, and possibly my items.

Fedex was so slow in getting my package to the post office that the team at the post office - called me once my package arrived, because they knew I needed it for my trip!! They went above and beyond to search through all the fedex smartpost to find just my package!! Even after they Closed!! Great service!!

Everyone there from counter to manager were extremely polite, patient and helpful to me yesterday when I thought I had a missing package. Especially for this time of year .

Was in and out within 5 minutes, the clerk did all the work for me and made it as easy and possible. Will definitely be shipping from there in the future
