I love this place. The food is excellent, very nice variety to choose from. The service is excellent and the vibe is very small town cozy.

Came all the way to this town just to try their food. I am happy I did! Was fast and fresh. Tasted awesome. Staff was great too! Solid 5 Stars!

Hometown family diner serving all the comfort food I grew up with. This place is a gem! I'll be back! There's a lot of menu items to pick from. I had the smothered chicken which was great and the other dish is chicken Parmesan. Both very yummy! Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing small town restaurant!! Owners make it a point to greet and chat with the guests, servers and staff are friendly and polite, and the food is delicious. Quick and accurate. You won’t be waiting long for your food here.

This was a lovely little, family friendly diner to eat at after church. There was something for the whole family, even the kids. And while it was a little crowded, I’m very glad we chose here to eat.

My husband saw something about this place on Facebook and insisted we try it! I’m glad we did! He had the fried chicken and I ordered the Delmonico Steak Sandwich both from the specials board and they were both so good! The steak on my sandwich was cooked wonderfully! We’re from Monroe and will definitely drive here again! ❤

Very good and staff was great as well. I had the Fish with onion rings instead of chips (fries) and it was really good. Lightly breaded and not too greasy.

What a great place! Clean tasting food, friendly staff, clean environment, did i mention amazing food and staff!!!???!!! If you do not eat here, you are missing out on the BEST kept secret in the area. I am in town for work and am happy to have found this place!

Food here is excellent and comes out pretty fast. I also appreciate the generously portioned meals and value for the money. I usually get a steak sub and it’s always very good… juicy chunks of meat that are well seasoned and flavorful, no weird rubbery bits or too tough to chew. Love their fries too… they almost seem breaded with how crispy they are on the outside. I ate with 2 other people and they were really happy with their food as well.

Have been there twice now. Great food, service and atmosphere. Chicken and dumpling is really good. And they're bean soup is the best.

I had a delicious dinner with the fried lake perch and fries. I started off with a cup of their AMAZING Creamy Chicken Noodle soup. And I finished it off with a slice of Chocolate Mousse Pie. The service and friendlyness at the Farmers Restaurant is second none.

Well I was a "first timer" today at the Farmers Cafe in Carleton Michigan. My nephew and brother brought me here and I am glad they did. The food was delicious and I Loved my Beef Vegetable Soup, the fresh Bread, and my Veal dinner. The portions are very generous and the staff are exceptionally friendly. You can dine in or get it to go if your in a rush. They have ample parking, which is handicap accessible, and masks are optional at this time.

If you love a small rural town, great food, very fair prices, a friendly atmosphere and service... I have to recommend you pay a visit to Farmer's Café in Carleton, MI. This has been a go to local spot for my wife and I for many years, usually for breakfast after Church on Sundays... but have never been disappointed regardless of what time of day we dine here.

I would just like to start this off with saying this place was PACKED. Although it was, the servers and managers seemed calm and collected. We were seated within minutes of arriving by a kind and enthusiastic man. We were then greeted by a helpful waitress. We ordered lots of food (had a table of 6) and it came out within 15 minutes of ordering. Everyone was very very impressed with the food in my group and the presentation was absolutely incredible. I would definitely recommend and I plan on being back for this delicious food.

This is our "go to" restaurant. We know the food will be good and the waitstaff will be friendly. It is a small town place where the locals go to meet and eat. In my experience it gets crowded for breakfast and lunch. The prices are comparable to other restaurants and we usually have leftovers for another meal.

Went there for the first time with our neice husband and 3 kids. There were a total of 7 of us. The staff was excellent and attentive. They kept coming around and checking our needs, especially on the kids. The food was great. Will definitely try it out again.

Went here for dinner with my mom on mother's day, and we both left very pleased. We got the combo appetizer, which was very good. My favorite were the fried mushrooms! The onion rings were also delicious. For my main course I got the smothered chicken, mashed potatoes and corn. It was amazing! I had no complaints what so ever.
They had so much to choose from, which was very nice. There was a chalk board of daily specials. The waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. I will definitely be going back.

This is my 2nd time here (1st time I had breakfast but it was well over a year ago) so me and the hubby decided to come here for dinner and I'm so glad we did! I love how cozy it is and literally EVERYONE knows eachother or at least acts like it! Everyone is so nice customers and staff! Bathroom was very clean.. the tables that were available were clean and ready.. I didn't catch our waitresses name but she had short blonde hair a little older and omg she was just absolutely amazing! We literally took forever to order (we wanted to try everything) and she was so patient with us and even joked around a few times.. she brought our food so quick and you get a bread basket with bread, crackers and sesame sticks.. the bread was so soft and fresh veryyyy good.. the hubby had beef vegetable soup (I think) he loved it!! He had the hot turkey sandwhich with mashed potatoes and gravy and I had a BLT with a loaded baked potato.. so first it was the BEST hot turkey sandwhich he has EVER had he raved about it the chicken was fresh the gravy was good and he is VERY picky on gravy and mashed potatoes and it was perfect.. my BLT actually had more then 2 slices of bacon! (GASP!) it had a decent amount of bacon and actually good bread! Bacon was cooked to perfection and the loaded baked potato was HUGE and had a ton of cheese and bacon (OMG) .. it was $20 (not including tip) for both of us..we both VERY VERY VERY recommend! We will be back soon to try the breakfast skillet!!(:

My family has been coming here for 14+ years and every single time the food is delicious no matter what I order (though I highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch wrap and mozzarella sticks). The workers are always friendly and helpful.

Stopped here on the way back to Ohio, and had a great experience! The prices are very good for the portion sizes, and all the workers were very friendly.
