Vaqueros Mexican Restaurant 3

Not down in Springs that often, but I know what I want if I'm feeling Mexican, Vaqueros! This place was great! All the food was fantastic, service was spot on, and the atmosphere was more upscale than your typical Mexican restaurant. It was very nice. Like Arnold once said, I'll be back!

Our first visit to this beautiful Mexican restaurant.
Melissa was a fun and personable server and would request her on our next visit.

Definitely worth a little drive to frequent again.

This place was a gem! The place was super clean, our waiter was super nice, and the food was super delicious! The portions were huge! The chips and salsa were warm and so flavorful! The steak tasted like it was grilled and was still super juicy! The chimichanga was cooked to perfection and the desserts had so much flavor and were a perfect way to end our meal!
Would definitely recommend this place! Best part is the music brought us nostalgia from when our grandmas use to cook in their kitchen!

Could not have had a better end to a very Blessed birthday!! Sebastian was our server and very helpful in ordering . The margaritas were exceptional! We had the Fajita combo for two and was enough food for four, along with getting sang happy Birthday to, I received a complimentary scoop of icecream with a little extra. We highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you Sebastian you are an amazing server.

Best Mexican food restaurant I’ve found in the Springs that has it all going for it. Food, service and atmosphere all top notch! A little on the pricier side, but with so much greatness, it’s easier to plan for and swallow. Haven’t gone when the mariachi band is there, but can only imagine it’ll add to the ambiance and high score!

my husband and i stopped by after shopping at bass pros and holy cow was it a find! i don’t understand how this place isn’t packed at all times! if your looking for good traditional green chilie COME HERE!!! the green chilie was so stinkin good ( coming from a co native) i ordered a michelada and it’s probably one of the best i’ve had as well. food and drinks were amazing, service was amazing, it was super clean, and super fast!!! definitely recommend checking it out!

The food is delicious and the serving is a great portion. The plate was humongous and super fulfilling. Definitely recommend this place.

Pancho took tremendous care of my cousin and I. The food was hot and fresh, as the drinks were cold and refreshing. I enjoyed the views, atmosphere, and art pieces scattered throughout the restaurant.

I asked for hot, and it was beyond MILD! Service was great and the vibe was great. Food was ok.

We had a large group with just under 60 people. They were able to accommodate us. Take our orders and get our food out fast. The servers were kind, respectful, and accommodating. They made our night very special.

Loved this place. Thought the prices for dinner were a bit high, until my food arrived. Plenty for dinner and lunch the next day. It was delicious and I will definitely be visiting again my next time through. Service at the bar was as good as you can ask for. I got the choripollo and it came on like a charcuterie platter.

Got the chorizo quesadilla, queso, carnitas tacos. Everything was delicious and our order came out quickly! Also got the El Patron Marg (med) which was tasty and strong. Karla (Carla?) was our server at the bar and provided top notch service. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Flawless
First time coming, came at the end of the night on cinco de mayo and it was perfect. Anjolina was on top of us and never left us waiting to order, while still taking care of several large groups nearby.

Food was large and flavorful, vibrant and presented beautifully.
Started with the ceviche with veggies as an appetizer. Molcajete as the main course. Finished with tres maria.

Ceviche was perfect, simply put. A hefty and happy portion.
Molcajete was presented in amazing, and jam packed with flavor. Spicy but flavorful spice not hot just to burn, with bacon wrapped shrimp, steak, chicken, and pork all mixed in.
Tres maria was the perfect end, well sized dessert, perfectly balanced sweetness that closed the meal, with little ice cream, little flan, and 4 nice light sopapillas.

Friendly staff, fast and accurate on orders, and they remember all the little details. Great ambiance , a real authentic and classy Mexican restaurant! Food was delicious fresh and plentiful.

This place is great!! It's a bit on the pricey side but the food is very good and the drinks are HUGE!! I never branch out when eating Mexican but decided to try something different and I was blown away. The molcajete was delicious and plentiful!! My husband got the burrito norten~o and that was also delicious. The rice and beans are super tasty and the tortillas were yummy. I forgot to take a pic of the burrito but I have attached the pics of my meal. The presentation was awesome. Definitely eat here!!

Everything is so great! We are so happy we moved to the area, All of the wait staff is phenomenal and the food is fantastic! Thanks for your great food and atmosphere!

We get to Vaqueros near Northgate quite often - always an enjoyable experience! Their Margaritas are quite good and their Mexican beer selection is excellent. The menu is quite extensive and it's one of the few Mexican restaurants in town with an excellent mole sauce. The atmosphere is one of the best – Mexican; vaquero & western themed.

The salsa at this location is way better than the one off Powers. I’ve had the Carne Asada tacos and the Verde Pork which was very tender. The margaritas are good, large glass. The service and atmosphere is great. I recommend this location over the others

It was beautiful inside and out, the staff was amazing as was the food. Myself and a group of 6 went in for a birthday lunch, and it was spectacular! It was a wonderful experience and had some wonderful food!
