South Park Saloon

This is an awesome local spot in Alma. Service was super friendly. The food was delicious and the beer selection was also excellent. Highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re in the area.

Mary was our bartender! She was fun and spirited! I could have fun partying there with her as bartender! Had Arugula Burger and BLT. Took it with us to nearby Montgomery Reservoir for a picnic. That burger was "possibly the best burger I've ever had!" according to my husband and I have to agree! Generous portions are given, French Fries are on point and onion rings incredible and my BLT was amazing!

This place is awesome! Highest saloon in North America. The pizza was delicious and the cheesy fries are to die for, and the service was on par! They also allow dogs outside in the picnic area.

Always the playing the best music here, nothing but good vibes. This place has by far the best rueben I've had in Colorado. No exaggeration. I come here religiously after hiking surrounding 14ers, and they always seat me right away, no wait. The Philly cheese steak is pretty good and so is the Gyro....but the rueben is the best. Don't forget.

Really very delicious. The lower was out in Fairplay so everyone went to Alma and the saloon was slammed. But the service was still great, the food was outstanding. I had the caprese chicken sandwich and highly recommend it, the fries were seasoned something fierce. Great atmosphere and decorated well for Halloween. Definitely stop in!

Ok, I’m from Philly and worked in a pizza joint for a few years as a kid. This pizza is legit. Especially at elevation. Fresh jalapeños is a +. Beer is good. Many microbrew options and staff is cool. Act like a local, don’t be a tourist. Oh, mega bonus points for having Heinz ketchup!!!

This little place has epic food!! I was a little weary to try it. Hands down the best steak and cheese I have eaten, made with a Tri tip daily. It was served with fresh hand cut fries and au jus on the side. I also had the house sales await him home made ranch. The pizza was made with hand tossed high altitude style crust. My wife said it was one of the best crusts she has had. Mary was an awesome bartender/ server. Good beer good food good service.

A bit on the pricey side, but completely worth it. Everything is homemade and local. The sweet potato tots and BLTA sandwich were delicious.

It turns out that the South Park Saloon sits at the highest elevation of any saloon in the US. Nice superlative. South Park has a great food selection. I had the BLAT Sandwich which was great. They have a large number of local and national beers to choose from. Emily was a great host and server for us which rounded out our delightful experience.

The food was amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. The Reuben was truly the best I've ever had. A friend had the philly cheese steak and said it was also the best he'd ever had. Good rotating beer selection too.

Stop for lunch just passing through town. Great atmosphere, staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the food was excellent. Only one minor complaint, we did wait a bit of time to get our order, even though the food was worth the wait.

Stumbled in on karaoke night (every Tuesday) Fantastic atmosphere and great food! Very fun spot to get dinner.

The service people were so friendly .The food was great! We went for lunch 1 day, enjoyed so much we returned for dinner the next day with 10. They did a great job serving us timely. If your in the area, definitely stop by. Beats a chain restaurant any day

Wow! What an amazing find! We saw this small saloon and decided to try it and the food and beer were amazing. I had a BLTA sandwich and my husband had their hamburger. So delicious! Well done! I would highly recommend you stop at this place when you are out in South Park!
