Most excellent 👍. Good food takes time, so don't be put off by the wait. My first time here and had the jerked chicken. Delicious. Lady at the counter was most hospitable.

Peanut soup and fufu was DELICIOUS. Here on a medical trip for my loved one and their food is amazing ! Will be coming back soon !

Brotha that owns the spot is cool as hell! The food is definitely authentic and not Americanized by the slightest. He’s got a good thing going and the portions are amazing! I went here on a date and we both left full & happy. this place is a must unless you are on a time hack I would consider going when you can sit down talk and have a good dinner or if you have a little extra time for lunch since everything here is made to ORDER or call in.

Magnificent food! Each dish is prepared as ordered, which is great from a flavor perspective, but it does mean you need to plan ahead.

We tried three different dishes, and several beverages, and this stuff packs a serious punch! Everything we tried had a marvelous aroma and a taste to match.

We had tried to come here a bunch of times over the last year or so, but somehow we always chose times when they were closed! BUT, finally we got there when they were open and it was wonderful!

The woman that owns Timbuktu is a joy—and even if the food wasn’t delicious (it was) I would want to come back just from how welcome and inviting she was.

It took us a while to place our orders because there were so many things we wanted to try—for us, that just means that our next few choices are mapped out when we return. 😊

I had the… well, shoot—I can’t remember what it was called and I can’t find it on the pictures of the menus (they’ve got a lot more options now compared to the menus in the Google Photos) but is was delicious! Because of my indecisiveness and, really, the owners kindness, I also got to sample some of the peanut butter soup and fufu. That is probably what I’m ordering a full order of next time! Yum!

This restaurant is underrated , they have the closest to authentic and great tasting African food . I tried it once and go back all the time .

Timbuktu is a West African restaurant. It has an inviting atmosphere. The food is freshly made and tastes great. The service was very good. I've been there a few times. The food pictured is ox tails and jerk chicken. Both with cabbage, rice and fufu. The drinks are ginger and bissap. It's definitely worth trying.

This place is absolutely amazing! The food was flavorful. It smells good and very clean. This gave me the feel of being in Ghana. It wasn't too spicy, it was properly portioned. It was literally perfect!!!

Met the owner by accident at my restaurant and he told me about it so I went to check it out. Hospitality was great, the food was delicious... that ginger drink was too much for me 😆 but this place is awesome. I'll be a regular

The food here is soo good trust me. The quality is just soo obvious. Extra love, attention, and tastiness is added to the food. Augusta just got a new Gem . And the ginger drink is extra gingery and delicious just like I like it 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Service is always great and the food is AMAZING!! The Jolloif rice is crazy good. You’ll be surprised at how good the food is

Sally's a one woman show! I had no idea she was working solo, taking orders and cooking as well, but I'm impressed by her services, the food, and her wonderful attitude! Our meal took longer than I'm accustomed to, but taking everything in account I understand why, and it was worth waiting for: hot, fresh, and full of flavor and attention! Please be patient if you come here, relax and appreciate the time and energy given to prepare your dish, you won't be disappointed! And she didn't skimp on the ginger in that beer!

The food was delicious! I had the Fufu and beef. I really enjoyed it. The wait was ridiculous though but I must say it was worth it

The food was excellent! The dishes have great flavors and the portions are very generous. We saw the "coming soon" sign and were excited to try it when it opened. It is tucked into a strip shopping center on Walton Way. The restaurant has a 100 score on their inspection so it is clean with a nice decor. The staff is extremely friendly. It did take about 20 minute to get our food since it is prepared to order. A little patience will pay off with a really great meal. They offer chicken, beef, lamb and fish dishes with unique flavors. Definitely worth a try. We will be heading back soon.

Really good food and typical from Africa. Okra stew was amazing.

The wait was long because only one was cooking. I got djolloff rice and oxtail. This dish was excellent. The portion size was fair. The oxtail, rice,cabbage and plantains were awesome.everything perfectly seasoned. My daughter wanted to try this place I had never heard of it.it was a tasty experience. I can't wait to go back.the oxtails were 20$ pricey😳but totally worth it.

This place is beautiful! It's smells amazing! It's so nice inside and has TVs! You can watch netflix on one while you enjoy your food! The food is literally cooked fresh, so I takes some time, but it is so worth it! If you don't like to wait call and order ahead! They are so friendly and nice here! Good food!
