Decorated very cute & it is extremely clean.
OMG! I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing that cupcake is! Very fresh! I had the strawberry one! It was dense & tasty! I am not used to a cupcake like that! Flavor was great! Wow! What a sugar rush! The chocolate peanut butter frosted cupcake was supreme. It was also fresh! We have more to eat. That is all the sugar today. Tomorrow we have berry pastries & almond cookies. I found my new bakery & bagel shop! 💜💜💜

As always being from NY we are skeptical of buying bagels anywhere else, and we have now found the best bagels in Vermont!!! Right here in Bennington, Vermont. Absolutely delicious fairly priced with excellent customer service!!! Highly recommended

So glad we found this place! The girl at the counter was so personable and helpful. The chili was awesome as was the bowl of broccoli and cheddar soup. My husband’s Texan sandwich was equally great. And for dessert which we actually ate first, was an almond joy cupcake, yuuuummy! The place had cute tables with fresh flowers. 5 stars all around!

Very nice little cafe just a short distance from the downtown center. Food was great!

Stopped at The Local to fuel up with coffee and bagels before heading to Prospect Mountain for the day - both were delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive and the sunny space is cozy and warm. Will definitely be back to try the sandwiches and yogurt parfaits!

Bagels, breakfast sandwiches and pastries are my go to here. The Local also does specials which are always enticing! A good breakfast/lunch for a fair price.

They were busy today and I know why! I can't tell you what I had because I'm coming back tomorrow for more!

Stopped in for breakfast, I got the egg bagel with olive cream cheese and my husband got the Texas which is basically a steak and cheese on a bagel! Both were delish and very fresh! We will definitely be back

My go-to stop for fresh bagels. I go early in the day to get the best selection. Great customer service and easy street parking right in front of the shop.
