Magdalen’s Gallery + Espresso

The cappuccino I ordered was by far the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is great but the rap/ hip hop music was not to my liking. I guess I was expecting more relaxing type music. May be some smooth jazz, lite classical or even some alternative music. Anyway it was still a great experience. Would highly recommend you to give them a try!!

Stopped in to grab a cappuccino and get some work done. Seating area is plentiful and the cappuccino was great. Service was friendly and accommodating. Gets loud when the crowd pours in, but I thrive in a loud environment while working, so it’s perfect for me. It’s only loud because it’s busy, and it’s only busy because it’s worth a stop!

Every drink I've had here has been crafted with excellent precision, with depth of flavor and an experience centered around every beverage. The perfect spot to get anything from a unique coffee beverage that you won't find anywhere else, to a classic cortado or cappuccino, done the RIGHT way. Well worth a drive or a special stop here to try anything out!

Ever since this place opened I've loved it. Not many cool little coffee shops like this in Lorain so it's a breath of fresh air to have one like this close to home. The atmosphere is chill, relaxing, and nicely decorated. Plenty of seating if you want to work or just have a seat and enjoy your coffee. Also plenty of space too, no feeling or being crammed in. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been!! 👍

Jason makes the best chai I've ever had! The place is absolutely beautiful and the photography makes the space into the most interesting art studio coffee shop! Love everything about this joint!

We chose to have a business meeting here earlier this week and we will definitely be back again soon! The coffee was amazing, service was incredible and the vibe was perfect. There was plenty of space, good music, and the furniture, art & decor just made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We are so excited to come back again and we are so happy that this place is in our hometown 🙂

I am so grateful to have been introduced to this wonderful space that adds so much creativity, hospitality, and cheer to the neighborhood. I met a friend for a perfectly pulled cortado and stayed for the welcoming vibes and stunning photography that transported me to serene mountaintops (a true gift for north eastern Ohio). The owner gifted us a sample of a new fall flavor---stewed apple and smoked rosemary, which included igniting a sprig and stirring it in the cappuccino for a delightful cultinary adventure. PURE alchemy! I can't wait to return and recommend supporting this creative, local initiative.

I love coffee shops that feel like a community living room, and Magdalen's is like that. It has a peaceful atmosphere, friendly people, great coffee, and plenty of places to plug in my laptop and work. I'm very grateful to have such a nice coffee shop in our area ☕🤎

Everything about Magdalen's is amazing. Incredible atmosphere, fantastic service, and hands down the best quality coffee and most carefully crafted drinks I've ever had in any city I've ever been to, which includes Miami, Atlanta, Chicago, and Milwaukee. Even my current home city of Seattle - known for their plentiful and high level coffee options - has nothing quite as good as Magdalen's. As a connoisseur of good coffee and good espresso, I can't recommend this place enough.

I have been wanting to try this coffee shop for a while now.. I woke up this morning n said, "Let's go!! 😁 I arrived right at opening time, and I was not the only one.. I entered the coffee shop and the atmosphere was amazing!! I loved all the artwork,plants, and cleanliness of the place.. I wasn't sure of what to get, so Jason suggested a latte that was amazing!! They were having some issues w the computer working, so instead of having me wait he gave the drink to me on the house!! 💜 I will def be back!! Also the pricing is comparable if not cheaper to any chain coffee shop and with a much more enjoyable taste..

My husband and I frequent many of the greater Cleveland area's coffee spots; always in search of true Craftsmanship behind the cup, to create the experience we are passionate about. We have visited Magdalen's thrice now, and have been extremely pleased with each and every visit. The espresso is flavorful without being too much of any one thing, which allows the seasonal menu flavorings to pair wonderfully as they ebb and flow. The area itself is open and spacious, allowing seating for parties of various sizes, while feeling equally inviting and autonomous enough for those that prefer their solitude in cafes. The folks behind the bar are always courteous and friendly to everyone that makes their way into Magdalen's gallery.

What a gem of a place! The cinnamon latte was the best I've ever had! The gentleman that waited on us was so friendly and the owner is just phenomenal all the way around and clearly loves what he does. Dont forget to check out his artwork, you won't be disappointed! Get to this place, and quickly!

Amazing coffee. The owner was very helpful bc I didn’t know what I wanted to order. Our latte and Mexican hot chocolate was amazing. So glad to see a nice coffee house in Lorain!!!

Wow so proud Lorain has this place in our downtown. Spacious, clean,interesting place.i went to two events there a couple weeks ago everything organized, friendly staff. I had a hot coffee (latte) I think. Twas quite a good blend and strong and i'll def be back for more. KMac
