Ice cream was good wished the butter pecan had more pecans. The prices are fair and portions. Will return when visiting the area.

Delightful, high quality ice cream parlor with friendly staff. You can get free samples of any flavor, and their single scoop size is quite generous. The smell of their fresh-baked waffle cones is amazing. Try their banana pudding, campfire s'mores, or "cow patty" (chocolate with candy and dark chocolate chips) flavors. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

I love visiting this shop with my kids! There are flavors for the littles (like cereal milk ice cream) and I love the elevated flavors also (like a balsamic strawberry). Another major plus is having the same flavor across traditional as well as non-dairy bases. We do sometimes have challenges with parking but nothing terrible. Added bonus, there are restaurants nearby (when we visited, it was Mellow Mushroom and Harry's)!

I've been excited for this place to open up since the ground breaking and they have certainly delivered. The downside is that... it's right across the street from my office. The upside is that their staff is very attentive and friendly. I love that the menu is simple and that they have a variety of flavors, many of them are unique.

The quality of the ice cream is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. The waffle cones are awesome. The decor is great and there's plenty of room to sit and enjoy the ice cream on these miserably humid days.

All around it's a great place to take the kids or a date and grab a great treat!

So glad I found Blue Cow Ice Cream! We have been there 3 times within 3 weeks, the place is super clean the staff are very friendly and they can't wait for you to ask to sample the flavors. They have non-dairy options and I think vegan as well. They have alot of different flavors to choose from so choosing just one is hard! I got the Goat cheese blueberry swirl with Cereal Milk OMG!!! And my husband got the Sea salt brickle with caramel swirl which is really good too! They change out certain flavors throughout the year and they do not disappoint. Another favorite was the Banana Pudding and the Strawberry Balsamic go try it before its gone! Thanks Blue Cow!

This ice cream slaps. Cereal milk for the win. I got a mini size in a cake cone but it was still giant. The scooper let me try three different flavors: double fold vanilla (a little too buttery on the mouth feel), banana pudding (almost got it but didn't want nila wafers in my ice cream in the end), and cereal milk. Cereal milk had accidental pieces of corn flake in them. At least I think accidental since there were so few pieces but I wasn't complaining. Best ice cream ever.

Service is always good even when we went on Saturday and it was crazy busy employees were always nice to each one of us. Great customer service and delicious ice cream!

Fantastic ice cream, super creamy and good service. I've never been there when it wasn't busy. They also have good vegan options (approved by my vegan friend not by me)

Get the blueberry goat cheese cheesecake - really unusual flavor and I loved it!

Ice cream is really good for this area. Staff is super friendly and patient. Thank you to the young man who helped us try different flavors and have recommendations. The carrot cake was amazing! Atmosphere is clean.

Very Friendly Staff, Helped me choose the most popular flavor in her opinion which was the Sea Salt Brickle w/ Caramel Swirl.. & it was Really Good. I'll definitely recommend to Friends & Family, I will be returning back soon...

Generous portions and great flavor options. The ice cream itself was perfectly churned, creamy and had the perfect balance of richness and sweetness. I got the rooster coffee flavor and the blue cow chocolate flavor. The coffee flavor tasted amazing and I believe the coffee was freshly roasted. Would definitely return. I hope they create a coconut flavored ice cream! They also have one or two dairy free options.

Some of the best ice cream and milkshakes I've ever had! They're local. They offer pints to carry home. I love the goat cheese and blueberry, the blue cow patty and the cookies and cream. But their plain chocolate and vanilla are fantastic too! They make their own waffle cones as well. The smell will bring you into their doors. All of their ice cream has generous portions of ingredients. They don't skimp on you here.

Great non dairy ice cream!

Best ice cream in Fredericksburg. Get the flight and try all the great flavors. The gluten free non dairy chocolate tastes similar to a mounds bar. The banana puddin' is great too.

This is my favorite ice cream place in Fredericksburg. I don’t know why so many people prefer Carl’s or Tillie’s.

I love that Blue Cow has some unusual inventive flavors. Especially the blueberry goat cheese ice cream. It’s way better than it sounds — think cheesecake. Don’t worry, they also have more familiar flavors too.

The ice cream pints are not a bad deal compared to the price of a cone.

Love the variety of specialty and seasonal flavors! Waffle cones are made fresh daily. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Definitely a great addition to the downtown area! Here is a pic of my newest favorite flavor Sea Salt Caramel Brickle! Yum!

So many options, and they offer gluten-free and dairy free flavors! Our daughter has nut allergies and they were very accommodating to scoop her ice cream from a fresh tub. DELICIOUS ice cream! We all enjoyed our choices! 10 out of 10 for friendly service and cute, clean atmosphere too!
