Maples on Main - Local Café

Decided on having a nice breakfast while here on vacation. We saw the menu and had to try it out. We walked in and immediately loved the spot. It was nicely decorated, spacious and had a very relaxed atmosphere. We had an opportunity to meet the owner and chat and he was the BEST. We decided to order the waffles and cinnamon bun, and it was absolutely. Fresh, light, and a taste was perfect. The hot chocolate and coffee were also good. We will defiantly be back to visit this spot.

Came in for the first time ever and the owner came out and talked to us about his process. Talked us in to trying more food. He's highly energetic and a laugh for sure. The lady who rang us up was also amazing. I'll 100% be back

Also told owner he ruined cinnamon rolls for me. He said, "you're welcome" 😂 Great place. The bacon, cinnamon rolls, s'mores etc were all amazing!

Just an amazing place to have breakfast/brunch at. We literally loved everything that we ordered. A quick note that the elevated egg sandwich croissant was super good! Customer service was great and staff is very good at accommodating any requests that you have. Highly recommend this place!

We ordered the fatty burrito, Dans “too thick” French toast, mother clucker hot sandwich, candied bacon biscuit.
Everything was delish. Especially the Hot chicken sandwich. Bakery cookie was also amazing and soft as well as the coffees. We got the white chocolate mocha. 5/5 ⭐

Great food on the way home from Beech and Sugar Mountain. The sugar waffles were perfect for our daughter but the breakfast bowls were amazing!

Maples on Main is a must! They serve delicious dishes with local ingredients. Their surprising, relaxing atmosphere and quality service make this restaurant a definite stop anytime we're in town. We met the Maples today and it's obvious how much they love what they do! Plus, they have awesome gluten free options!

Elevated egg sandwich super light and airy croissant with crunchy potatoes.
Husband has a iced mocha latte and the Belgium Chick (spicy option on the side)
Candied thick bacon on top. Hits the spot just right.

Stopped to get brunch on our girls trip at Maples on Main and we fell in love with the atmosphere and food!! The owner was so nice and even took our photos. We especially loved the crepes and chicken & waffles. 10/10, Travel Babes NC will definitely be coming back!

Excellent menu choices. We ordered at the counter, not our choice but it was ok. Our food arrived hot and tasted delicious. My waffles were so wonderful with crisp edges and a soft fluffy inside. Fresh cream and fresh sliced strawberries added a delicate balance. My husband had the Big Fatty Breakfast Burrito with seasoned breakfast potatoes. Absolutely delicious. We would have enjoyed another glass of water, but it was not offered.
We are looking forward to enjoying another menu item on our return.

This place was amazing! We went here this past July and it was so good! The food was wonderful! Best waffles ever. The owner was so nice he asked us how our food was and was super friendly! He even took our picture for us:) The restaurant was beautiful. -Travel Babes NC💗

Stopped in while on a road trip and where blown away. What a wonderful surprise this place was, just look at that French toast! Had a bluegrass band playing for Sunday brunch, felt warm and welcoming.

I’m glad this cafe has not only coffee but decent meal options. I like pastries but this gives you a little more. The savory meal options are great! 😋
The staff was friendly. And that’s very important to me. Any place needs to have a welcomed atmosphere. Some low volume music plays while you eat and enjoy.

Absolutely love the environment, from the music to the decor and lush greenery! This was our second visit and we have been happy each time. The nitty gritty was delicious, outstanding bacon and the waffle is out of this world. Maples on Main… you nailed it!

Always a wonderful stop to come for a bite to eat. Great food and amazing quality. A priority for them to serve fresh food and to ensure you are satisfied! The owner generously surprised us with a cinnamon roll , which tastes amazing !!!

This is a great spot for brunch! The atmosphere is fresh and the food is delicious. Best chicken and waffles around and their Nitty Gritty Bowl is comfort food at its best.

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to walk into a Hallmark Movie… then Maples on Main is your chance. The atmosphere was charming with beautiful decorations. The food was delicious with a variety of unique flavors. Employees were all kind and thorough. While eating, the owner stopped by our table to ensure we were well taken care of. Truly a gem in the mountains.

So, my wife and I frequent Maples on Main often and absolutely LOVE this place. Rutherfordton needed a cafe like this in their town. I went in this morning and got takeout for the first time and wow!!! Super-fast service and just like dining in, everyone had smiling faces and was so friendly. The picture I included does no justice to how great this tasted. Yes, I added the syrup, but this is exactly what it looked like when I got back home and opened it up. Deeeelish!!!!
