Matt catered a birthday party at my home. We asked him to center a meal around Bouillabaisse and to drop it off rather than work the party which was really challenging as Bouillabaisse has so many last minute components. Other than the Bouillabaisse I asked him to come up with the menu and he created the perfect appetizers and sides that all went together brilliantly. He not only created an authentic and truly delicious Bouillabaisse and walked me through how to finish it but every thing he made from the appetizers to the Provencal salad to the gruyere biscuits and more were so wonderful and had our guests wanting to lick their plates. Matt was so easy to work with and brought everything so well organized that I was able to pull off this fairly complicated meal and still enjoy my guests. I would recommend Red Barn Kitchen for any event and hope to have the chance to call on him again.

My husband and I have treated ourselves to two pop-up guest chef dinners so far, and I can honestly say it has been the best dining experience we’ve had in Vermont. Yes every last bite is amazing but we expected that — the real surprise is the experience. You get to enjoy a one-of-a-kind meal and meet other likeminded folks so it starts to feel like you’re at a private dinner party at your friend Matt and Kate’s house. They have built something truly special here — I already can’t wait to go back for another dinner!

We can’t say enough positive things about Matt and his amazing team! We had our micro-wedding reception dinner at The Red Barn Kitchen this summer and we would choose it all over again in a heartbeat. Matt was incredible to work with and accommodated all of our needs. He created a custom menu that catered to our requests and put a lot of love into the entire event.

It was so much more than a dinner, it was a special experience that captured us as a couple and was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Matt has an infectious energy and makes you feel like you’re having dinner at an old friend’s house. Our friends and family have not stopped raving about the incredible food Matt prepared, with many declaring that he has forever raised the bar for wedding cuisine.

I wasn’t sure what to do, if anything, for my 50th. But after one phone call with Chef Matt Jennings of Red Barn Kitchen, I was convinced this guy would go above and beyond anything I could dream up. And I was right! His food was so amazing, it was all my guests could talk about! Raw bar, brisket sliders,fried chicken sandwiches, street corn salad, so much more. My words can’t capture the unique spin he puts on his food. But, I assure you it will be the best version of these menu items you have ever had! Also, he and his staff have a great vibe. Everyone is committed to a high standard of excellence, and a desire to make this experience stress free and exceptional. They floated into my kitchen, and floated out at the end of the night. Everything cleaned up for me. Brilliant! Cannot wait to hire him for another gathering very soon. Top notch everything!

RBK catered an outdoor barbecue-style gathering for us this summer. Chef Matt and John came totally prepped with delicious seasonal appetizers and salads from their garden and locally-sourced meats and grains. They worked with our humble grill to produce the most amazing feast for us all. The food, presentation and professionalism was outstanding. Every bite was so fresh and delicious, it truly captured the bounty of the summer season. “Good Food Good Mood” set the tone for our gathering and we HIGHLY recommend Red Barn Kitchen do the same for yours!

Matt worked with my wife and me on creating a special meal for my cousins' weekend reunion. Perhaps the first time in 40 years we had all been assembled in one place! Matt, Kate and their team are culinary maestros who way exceeded our expectations. I'm still licking my lips a week later. And my cousins are still raving about it, too! A real gem in little Charlotte.

After trying many of Red Barn's food offerings and attending a cooking class five stars is certainly deserved. Top notch ingredients and stellar recipes make any of their offerings delectable. Matt and Tyler offered a warm welcome to our class and made all feel very comfortable in their amazing kitchen.

Matt is such a good cook! We’ve had the pleasure of enjoying his food for many years at his previous restaurants. Red Barn Kitchen is special: intimate, welcoming and delicious and I can’t wait to see what’s next. We’ve enjoyed many Sunday Suppers and taco nights and are looking forward to the summer take out window. Thanks for being in Charlotte, Matt & Kate!

RBK catered an intimate luncheon in their cozy barn for us. Matt and his crew were beyond gracious, the food exceptional, and presentation absolutely beautiful. I cannot recommend Red Bard Kitchen highly enough.

We ordered last Friday’s family meal from Red Barn Kitchen. It was truly outstanding!! From the salad to the dessert we were so impressed and had enough for lunch the following day. Absolutely delicious!

Wow is all I can say! We tried Sunday supper for the first time and it was worth the drive from Williston. Beautiful packaging that you can heat up your food in, restuarant quality food right at your table, very affordably . We have braised beef with polenta and baby carrots with pistachio gremolata. At first sight it didn't look like a enough portions for 4 but it was plenty. We did add our own bread/butter on the side. Will definatlely be back.

Delicious food and outstanding service! We love Sunday suppers; the pork this past weekend was cooked to perfection and Kate’s chocolate chip cookies can’t be beat. We can’t wait for more amazing dining options!

A delightful experience of fresh, thoughtful plates and a gorgeous, relaxing environment. Comfort food like grilled cheese and burgers with fresh plant-based twists like kimchi and mint basil lemonade! Like a little 3 hour vacation. Well worth the gorgeous drive into the country.
