Ginger & Clove Cafe

Delicious! Good portion sizes. Server was attentive and friendly. The only complaint I have is about the price of the coffee. It's nothing special, but very expensive. Gluten - free bread available.

Restrooms located in hallway. Ample parking. Easy to find.

Kali our server was excellent, friendly and well informed. The food was delicious with nice presentation. The menu was diverse and interesting without being too extensive. I am kind of a breakfast snob so I am rarely impressed. Look forward to going again.

Went here after seeing many people talking about their experience. Pulling into the parking lot it does not easily give off the impression that there is a restaurant there though I had driven by multiple times. Walking in the place opened up to a very spacious environment that looks and feels extremely clean, relaxed and inviting. The food was incredible. My son ordered pancakes that were huge and fluffy. I ordered one of the hash bowls and was blown away! Many times corned beef hash is a very greasy, out of the can type of experience. It was very clear this stuff was NOT your typical dish. It was crisp, very little grease, and just a touch of seasoning. Very well done!

Update 2 years later: I can't boast enough about Ginger and Clove. We have returned many times since my original review. We love this place, it has housed many sweet breakfast, brunch and lunch moments for my family and we will continue to frequent. If you haven't been here you are missing out, you NEED to experience the food and atmosphere at least once in your life.
This restaurant is an amazing addition to our community! I brought my son for his kindergarten graduation. My waitress noticed his excitement and made sure to match that while interacting with him. Not only was the service amazing the food was beyond my expectations! This place radiates positivity. I will be back with my family!

What a beautiful little breakfast place. The food and service was amazing. I got the pumpkin waffle special and it was sooo good I can’t recommend them enough!

Delicious food! I got the crab cake benny today and a Bloody Mary. Both were excellent, as was the service. Last time I was there, I had a 10/10 omelette. Definitely recommend.

We drove 45 minutes to experience first hand what everyone talks about G&C. And we were not disappointed. There was a little bit of a wait, but once we were seated, our server Cassy, was prompt with our coffee and our order. Great selection of breakfast and lunch items. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly.

Ginger & Clover is a must stop for anyone in the area. The food tasted as good as it sounded on the menu. Sunny was fantastic! He was fun and energetic. Very helpful when we were trying to figure out what to order. A perfect way to start or end your vacation in Hampton. We will definitely be back again.

Good American breakfast!! The food came out very quickly, and it was delicious.
I got the veggie omelet, and my wife got the Popeye omelet. If you love bacon, the Popeye is a great option!

Exceptionally clean dining room,love the lighting it's a bright but not harsh. The 2 servers(older&younger) on Monday morning were inviting and happy. Sitting at breakfast bar I believe is the owner(wife) and the cook I believe is the owner(husband) checked on us, they're approachable people with good attitudes.

Seated right away and our server, Casey, made sure our drinks were topped off always! Great food. Limited seating, and seamed to be a hit with the locals! So make sure you come early or during brunch hours.

First time visit and we will certainly be back. Arrived around 11am on a holiday Monday. Waited only 15 minutes for a table. Decor was tranquil and pleasant. We had the bananas foster pancakes, praline French toast and chocolate chip pancakes. They were all fantastic- definitely bring your appetite! Fellow customers were also very pleasant and chatty. Had a really nice vibe.

Great service and food 👍! I read about this restaurant in the Seacoast Scene. I had the Classic Breakfast, two 🥚 eggs, potatoes and toast. Big slice of toast! Tables are set up with everything, including Tabasco sauce. Small menu so you don't have to spend a half hour deciding what you want. There is a bar counter and window seats. You can pay by phone 📱. Wifi available.
I recommend a visit. Come early:-).

I've eaten here a few times with my family and boyfriend, and overall I really like it here. The food is delicious and came out super fast. The menu is huge, so you're bound to find something that everyone will like.

Great new place to munch at in the Seacoast area. Awesome breakfast menu. Some fun tweaks on the traditional breakfast fare. Get the Hash Bowls! Attention to detail on the chef front. Well worth the visit.

I got the banana Fosters Pancakes. They were amazing. Like 5/5 so good. Huge portion. I was very hungry and glad to have had all that food. The service was awesome. Very polite and very quick! I'd 100% go back!

Always thoroughly enjoy breakfast at Ginger & Clove. I've had both sweet and savory dishes here - pancakes are amazing, so are the omelet and egg dishes. Personal favorite on the seacost.

We spent a few days at Hampton and ate breakfast at a popular place on the beach "where the locals go." Turns out that was hype and that if you want a REAL breakfast, you go to Ginger & Clove Cafe.

This is no greasy spoon. It's a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and neighbors. It's warm, smells of fresh coffee, and bacon and eggs. You get huge piles of delicious breakfast served quickly and without breaking the bank. This unexpected discovery gets five stars from me. You will like it, too.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! The food was delicious, service was top notch. We went for the Cajun items on the menu, but everything was delicious! All the usuals, done deliciously, but the homemade biscuits, sliced and grilled... OMG. I ordered the cajun omelet, made with sausage, peppers, onions, cheese and drizzled with a cajun hollandaise sauce... so incredibly good! I chose the side of grits, again so yummy, buttery and cheesy. On a rainy December morning this was the perfect breakfast with friends. Highly recommend!

We went to have breakfast on a busy Sunday morning.
Yes there was a wait(this means that its worth it) but the staff was accommodating and up front about the wait time.
once seated the servers were quick, friendly and fun.
The food was ready quick and incredible!
one of the best omelets we had ever had and some incredible biscuits and gravy and great hash!
