My Garden Cafe

I found another great breakfast place in Turlock. I had The Corned Beef Hash plate with country potatoes, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit with gravy. Very tasty!!!! I loved the corned beef hash. For my beverage, I had black coffee, a large orange juice, and ice water. My only gripe is that the large orange juice is rather small. Other than that, the portions are large. The service here is very good.

First visit here to the My Garden Cafe and guess what was on the menu for the Southern tastebuds ... fried okra! What a treat and dipped in ranch, even better. Ok, back to the occasion, the breakfast here did not disappoint. Everything tastes fresh, light fluffy omelettes seem to have layers ... a breakfast essential if you treat yourself and stop here!

Was craving some good pancakes and the pecan banana pancakes were all that. I'll be back to try more breakfast items. Only one downer... the coffee. Definitely not a rich brew. Tea might be a better option.

UPDATE: Still a fav place for breakfast. The pancakes & waffles still my favorites. Had pork chops today and although tasty, they were a bit too salty. The biscuits and gravy was a huge portion, but the biscuits were a little hard. Brought that home for later after I warm the biscuits with the gravy. I'll be back to try an omelet or the French toast!

First time in this shop, first thing I notice is their little seating area and all the yummy treats along the wall. Very nicely presented.

The Raspberry and the Apricot folder overs are flakey and delightful. I’m not one for rose flavor, however I thought I’d try it. The Rose Mousse Eclair is light and mousse is light. Again I’m not one for rose flavors, but this was good.

Food is ALWAYS good. My waitress was so helpful in assisting me with choices. The fried potatoes are my favorite (and if you don't want the peppers & onions, just tell them, and they'll leave 'em out). Great food in a friendly, family style setting. 😋

Beautiful people at your service with a welcome and smile- respectful- very attentive- coffee cups filled- take time for pleasant conversation. Food is delicious in a timely no too long wait. I had a BLT w/avocado and crispy delicious fries- yum! Check out with a warm thank you and a " come back soon!"

We just moved to Turlock and couldn't find a good place for breakfast, IHOP and Dennys were so bad. So I'm glad we gave this place a shot. The meals were so good it felt like home-cooked meals. We will be back

Food is great and everything has this homemade feeling to it. Our waitress was sweet, the place was clean and I loved looking at all the things on the wall. They were fast too even with a crowd. We live in Madera but would drive there for a meal few times a month.

First time here...It was great they make you feel welcome when you walk in...Service was excellent...the food was great..
It's one of those places where everytime you go to Turlock you have to stop there to get a bite...

The service is the friendliness around and food is pretty good as well. I'm a regular and they all know my name and ordering habits and do their best to make sure I leave happy. I love them here.

Menu was good and so was the food. Our server was very friendly and accommodating with our order. We knew when we arrived at a bit after 1:00 that they close at 2:00 p.m. so no problem there but we wish they were open longer. Overall a very nice lunch though. We will be coming back!

Always a great experience! Breakfast is the best! Service is excellent and quick. Snarky little posters and signs on the walls. I've been to all of them and you can pretty much expect the same great food and service at all of them!

A nice casual setting with amazing food. I ordered their breakfast special "Ironman omelet" made with dice ham, fresh spinach, mushrooms and onions and it was fantastic... it was served with country potatoes and sourdough toast (my choice of sides) Their omelets come packed with yummy fresh ingredients and the food is priced great! The service was great as well, very friendly and well attentive. I'll definitely be back again soon!

My boyfriend moved to Merced over the summer and I drive up from Santa Clarita every other weekend. We wanted breakfast one morning so we drove to Turlock searching for My Garden Cafe that he had heard about from his staff at Mercy Medical Center. I was turned off by the name at first, it didn't grab my attention. But we decided to try it out anyways. It turned out to be such a delicious breakfast! He asked about the biscuits and chocolate pudding which he turned his nose up to and had regular biscuits and gravy instead. The waitress said it's one of those things that you either hate it or you love it. Two weeks later when I drove back to Merced we went back to My Garden Cafe and I just had to try the biscuits and chocolate pudding, i was curious and well...it's to die for and I can't get enough!!! Every time I drive up now, I make him take me there for breakfast and guess what I just have to have every time? Yup! Biscuits and chocolate pudding. I forgot to mention that everyone is super friendly and very attentive to their guests. You'll never have an empty cup of coffee.
