The Pony Expresso

Friendly, quick service. The sausage breakfast burrito was wonderful (very tasty and big portion). The coffee was really good and the red velvet cupcake was fantastic! Good WiFi (password protected) and easy parking. Definitely recommend this place.

This is the perfect little coffee shop located in the middle of Dolores, Colorado. We stopped on our way through town... They had a HUGE array of drinks from Coffee and Espresso Drinks to Italian Flavored Sodas to Herbal Teas... They also had ice cream and a nice array of homemade pastries (yum). My whole family ended up getting drinks and "build your own" sandwiches. It was reasonably priced and very good! I think my coffee drink was called "Lipizzaner Stallion" (all the drinks are named after horses), but I'm not completely sure that was the name... It was a really tasty Caramel Mocha Frappe. MMMMmmmmm....!

What can I say besides this place is awesome. We stopped in on our way through town on a road trip. I work from my computer so I was looking for a place to eat, drink coffee and get some web work done. The food and coffee were both exceptionally tasty and then the unthinkable happened... I left my computer chord! I didn't realize I had left it until I was in the next state. The shop owner offered to mail it to me and wouldn't let me pay him for it. Such kindness seems to be increasingly hard to come by these days. For good food, fast wifi and a relaxing atmosphere, go to Pony Expresso!

We originally stopped at Pony Espresso because they advertised free wifi. And we were glad we did! The pastries, the ice cream and the coffee drinks were excellent! Mark encouraged us to stay and use the wifi as long as we needed. Then he gave us some excellent advice on hiking in the area. Even though we camped an hour north of Dolores, we came back to Pony Espresso several times during our stay in the area. And we will return!

Just had a wonderful experience at The Pony Express in the beautiful town of Dolores. There were 5 of us and we had sandwiches, burritos, coffee and kettlecorn. All delicious. Theresa and a delightful you man were friendly and filled with warm hearts. I highly recommend you stop at The Pony Express if you are passing thru Dolores.

I am not one to post reviews but Pony Expresso warranted one. My husband and I took a road trip from Phoenix. We've gone to coffee shops in Durango, Silverton and Telluride along the way. This place was simply amazing and an unexpected gem. Nothing we had along the way compared--in taste, quality or variety. If you are driving through Dolores, this is a stop you won't regret making. Dreaming of another almond milk cappuccino from Pony Expresso all the way back to Phoenix.

Great little family own place. Stopped in to warm up after a cold ride down from Telluride on the motorcycle. Had some tasty breakfast burritos & hot chocolate. 2 thumbs up!

I couldn't eat all my breakfast burrito, even though it was the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! heating it up tomorrow for breakfast. amazing coffee and Theresa is a fantastic tour guide!

Very friendly and delicious coffee. I was surprised at the unique flavors of lattes, which include a peanut butter flavored drink. It was very tasty. The club sandwich was good too.

So cute! Love the name. Yummy ice cream and smoothies. Staff was friendly and gave my kids toy ponies!
