Rocky Mountain Taco

First time in Minturn - and we would come back to stop here. Got two massive burritos and two solid beers (Outer Range Brewing - In The Steep) and we got some chips with queso - spent $45 total all in. Not bad, plus great value because the food was really good.

The Cali Style burrito was full of flavor and was well cooked. It had a unique seasoning on it. It almost tasted like curry of some type, but not to say that that detracted from the overall burrito, which, by the way, was served PIPING hot. Both mine and my gf’s burritos came out damn hot, and were good to the point that we ate til we were stuffed. Solid. Only thing that could’ve used some more pizazz was the queso, which came with some really nice chips but the overall flavor of the queso could be improved. However, it was still a hot, tasty appetizer to hold us over after a long drive up I-70.

The atmosphere is cool too, though not exactly what I would expect in a sleepy bedroom community like Minturn. There are skateboards screwed to the walls all the way around the perimeter, each with its own colorful yet unique design which is easy to appreciate. The walls are also free-hand painted with mountains, adding to a slight counter-cultured yet fitting apres vibe.

The service was great. We met Dale who took our order and did not hold back on recommendations or stickers.

Like I said, we will likely be back for more.

This place has great vibes and one of the best tortas I have ever had! I tried their White Chick. You must try them out!

This is a good place to stop in for a quick meal or snack. Open seating areas and easy to order the food at the counter.

The selection is simple with the left side if the menu being either tacos, burritos, bowls, etc. with about 8 tasty selections of filling. The chips and salsa is pretty good. There is a variety of sauces at the bar that vary in spice level.

Overall a nice place for a snack.

Best tacos I've ever had! They use the highest quality ingredients and have an expansive menu, with everything from tacos to quesadillas all with various meat options as well as vegetarian offerings.
Ordering is quick and easy using their online menu, and prices are quite reasonable for the generous portions you'll receive. The restaurant itself has a clean, warm atmosphere with indoor/outdoor seating options. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend a trip from anywhere in the valley.

RMT is the place to go for outstanding food, service and atmosphere 👌 everything on the menu is delicious! Chips n Salsa like no other! I don't know what's better their tacos/burritos or their burgers! Always a tough choice. The owner is most always there and a real stand up guy. We're lucky to have them!

Rocky Mountain Taco never disappoints! It’s located right on the Main Street through Minturn. Plenty of parking and a fantastic atmosphere. Always friendly, great food and yummy beer on tap too! Even if the line is long, they expedite their service so professionally.

Perfect stop after a day in the mountains. We had the tacos with chip-n-salsa. They were delicious and reasonably priced at $3. They also have a salsa bar. I will be back!!

Everything is delicious! The Korean BBQ is especially good, I wish they sold that sauce by the bottle! The boards on the wall remind you that decks are true pieces of art. Don't forget you can get your RMT fix down valley in Gypsum now too!

Fantastic vibe with fantastic food. The meat was super good and made the burrito 10/10. The chili and chiles were a great side to pair but I ended up eating way more than I should have. Great price and great service. I would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great meal at a reasonable price.

world’s most best taco. also skate/snow/surf videos are always on, and there’s hundreds of decks with tons of skate culture and art to consume hanging on the walls. if you’re in the area and don’t stop at rmt, you’re making a massive mistake.

This is the best Taco joint I've ever had the pleasure of eat. Exquisite eats for any pallet craving gourmet Mexican. Definitely always recommend if your ever visiting the Western Slope or even from Colorado but never had the chance to dine here. Don't forget to tip the cook Javier, he's hard at work to bring you what is quite possibly, the best Tacos on earth.

If i could give them 7 stars I would. This place is always on point with everything all the time. Prices are the best in town for the portion size and value! Keep it up. I come here very often.

Delicious! Very authentic and tasty Mexican dishes. Prices are very reasonable. A short distance from the highway and well worth it if you are passing bye.

This place is so badass. Owners and staff are so kind and they’ve got amazing taste in skateboard art, which lines the walls. They’ve also got awesome merchandise. Not to mention, the food is simple, fresh, and clean. Fast and easy service.

(Vegan Reviewer) Hands down the best tacos!!! I had the Hippie Crack taco and the Yo Soy Hippie, just asked for no cheese or crema. You can also have the green and red salsa as both are vegan. Guac was super fresh and chips were right out of the oven. The beans are vegan and they also had a sign that they have a plant based patty if you want a burger. Great place, with excellent customer service - these guys do it right. Restaurant and kitchen were super clean. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Kudos!

Best nachos I've had in a long time! Great place... it's a must visit when in the area, for sure!

I really loved my Alambre burrito from this place. Not only was my meal tasty, but I also enjoyed the salsa bar and overall it was a great value. Will be stopping by again!
