CAFE MYTH @ Benson Vineyards

What a fantastic place to visit for a meal or gelato! The pizza was delicious, and I highly recommend the lemon pie gelato. The view was the most amazing part though. If you are visiting Chelan, put Cafe Myth on your “must go” list.

I’m not sure if there is another way to get down there, but I’m including a photo of the stairs you take to get to the cafe. They could be a problem for some people.

Gorgeous winery. Great wine. Ordered pizza downstairs and could bring it up to the wine tasting area. Pizza delicious.
Great ambiance with inside and outside seating.

Me: I am easy to please, you can't deny that.
Him:... We just ate at a winery on top of a mountain overlooking a lake!
Me: oh. 🤣

And to think I all started with me searching for pizza, seeing one photo from this establishment, and deciding to try it.

The winery is just 15 minutes from Lake Chelan and it's a scenic drive and location, as well.

This pizza place is the second of it's kind, from what I've heard, and people say it's better than the first. What I'll say is that I had a margherita with cupped pepperoni and it was delicious. The crust was fluffy and had a nice crunch, and everything tasted as it should, for a Neapolitan pizza. I would say it's as tasty as most Neapolitan pizza establishments that prepare pizzas properly.

What I love most about it was that I was able to do a wine tasting while waiting for the pizzas to be done, and the tiramisu gelato was SO good. Admiring the vineyard, the mountains and lake Chelan was very enjoyable too!

Going there a second time on our weekend trip. The pizza was that good. The views are even better our large family enjoyed our time there. Was a home run.

This place is absolutely amazing their mozzarella and pesto is the most fresh that I’ve ever had in my life and the pizza is to die for the view was excellent the service is very fast the selection of beer cider and wine is also amazing. I am definitely coming back and I would highly recommend anyone that wants to try a Neapolitan style pizza which is very unique in the USA as I was told I also had the opportunity to meet the owner Bob super nice guy and very informative about what makes his pizza better or I should say the best.

Came for lunch stayed for the live music, wine and view.
Had a really delicious pizza with a Gelato dessert.
Had a delicious Rosè with almost a hint of tawny port. Very nice.

As its grand opening (17/SEP/2020) was just a few days before our anniversary, I took my wife up to “CAFE MYTH” @ Benson Vineyards, for an early dinner and a pleasant Sunday afternoon drive out the north shore of Lake Chelan. The views from up here are spectacular!

The menu is not a duplicate of Bob’s 🍕 “Local Myth Pizza” restaurant in Chelan, as some might think, but fabulous just the same. Bob has definitely created another great list of menu options!!!

Friendly service and delicious Neapolitan style pizzas with a pretty decent view. Nice selection of beers and Rosé on tap.

Wood fired pizza oven, real Italian ingredients=excellent pizza.
The view overlooking Lake Chelan& the mountains is gorgeous. A must visit in Manson. Very nice.

Love this place, always get amazing pizza, benson is somewhere that I take all my friends and family, you won’t be disappointed when you go here and are taken care of.

beautiful place, pizza is delicious with great topping options. would love to see less single use disposable there, as it's really tragic to generate all that trash (ie premade salads in plastic containers, plastic silverware, pizzas come boxed whether you dine there or not). Also would be great to have somewhat extended hours, hopefully they can make that happen!

Wow, the pizza was absolutely amazing. Not to mention they also had beer, so if you don't want wine you have options

While parking isn't super close, the whole area is absolutely beautiful. Inside the restaurant is pretty small, but there are plenty of spaces to sit outside, which is ideal because of the view!

The food is incredible, and well worth it. We got the Thai Chicken Pizza, and our little one got the Cheese. We all loved it. Great drink selection, Beer or Wine.

One piece of pizza was in the box. Nobody could finish it. We were there for the band. Views over Lake Chelan. Fabulous. Then I got hungry. Ate the leftover slice. Not sure what pizza it was. Topped with arugula. Blew me away! What was different? Marinara sauce with simmered sausage. You don't see it. You taste it, along with the chunks of other meats and perfect ratio of cheeses and arugula. And the crust was chewy with bubbles of toasted crust! This is at a winery and I don't drink. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Great view, the pizza is good, the wines are good value. No dogs.

Came in the off-season and enjoyed some pizza, salad and burrata! Even did a wine tasting which did not disappoint. Everything was amazing, ingredients were fresh, service was friendly, and the setting was gorgeous! Will definitely be coming back in the summer time to see the vineyards in full bloom, but we loved seeing the snow in the mountains and the views of the lake. :)

This place is absolutely amazing! The pizza is just the start but add the beers, wines, live band, insane scenery and you have one incredible venue! Bob and his knowledgeable staff have outdone themselves with their newest addition to the Myth brand. Do yourself a favor and spend a afternoon with incredible food, brews, wine and music while relaxing with the best views on the lake!
