While traveling my son and I happened upon this place. It was so amazing we came back a second day for breakfast. The eggs, bacon, toast and hashbrowns were ALL amazing. My son thought his country fried steak was ok. I loved the french toast (we shared some). We took pancakes home to my Mom, one pancake she ate over two days it was so big! We had enough leftovers for one other meal as well.

The next day we came back to try their Huevos Rancheros—amazing!!!! My son loved their biscuits and gravy! This is not the least expensive breakfast around, but you can definitely make it into two meals.

We tried this restaurant on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, and it was busy! The waitress did a great job. The owner stopped and thanked us for our patience. We didn't mind the wait. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! We will definitely go back and try other menu items. They had sold out of the creme brule, but I can't wait to try it!

Delicious! I feel like the majority of their menu is made from scratch. Everything we had was so good! The owners stopped by and are delightful. Our new breakfast stop!

First time here. Had the Country Benedict Breakfast, and it is great. Crispy hashbrowns, two eggs, and sausage biscuits and gravey. Awesome gravey. Melody was an awesome server. The photos on here look great. I am looking forward to trying more of their menu.

This has become a regular stop for us for both breakfast and lunch. The food is fresh, high quality, reasonably priced, and is always just damned delicious. We had the chicken salad sandwhich and the smash burger for lunch today. I tried very hard to eat only half my huge sandwich...I failed. Love supporting local, especially when it's done like this.

The exterior is not very eye appealing and interior is bland. Kitchen and dine in area were very clean.
I had the Hot honey chicken sandwich, it’s not hot but the perfect amount of sweet and a little spice. Took a little bit to get our food but was worth the wait. It was so good I wanted to order another one when I was done. Definitely worth going to.

Tuesday main staple is cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes and green beans. Everyday, except Tuesday, there is a meal of the day. This past Wednesday, hot tamales were the special. I’m am so glad I decided to drop in. They were so fresh and tasty. The Spanish rice served with them was delicious too.

The food is prepared with ingredients and combinations of flavors that far outmatch anything within miles. I’m a very picky eater but was told multiple times i should try the place. The owner came out and chatted, and she is great! The food is ridiculously good and way above the local standards set by other places. I’ve had lunch there the last 4 days in a row.

Diner food with a gourmet spin to it. This is a fantastic addition to the Edwardsville/Bonner community. It's not fast food and they have been victims of their own success since they opened with staff shortages and a kitchen that's occasionally too small for the demand, but the ambiance is friendly and the owner usually greets everyone who comes in.

The food is awesome and usually worth the wait. People are learning to order the specials, but even the regular menu fare is outstanding and the portions are very generous. Even the coffee is good for a diner. This place is only going to get better with time.

Omg! This place is AWESOME. I’ve eaten here many’s of times and tried something new each time. Some of my favorite’s are the Double Smash burger, Cabbage Rolls,French Dip sandwich and the fried pickles. Looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen in the Fall with some new things to try!! I live almost a hour away and will still go and eat there 2-3 times a week.
Also, I’ve met the owners and the cook. Very nice people. I’ve been greeted with a smile every single time I’ve walked through that door.If you haven’t tried this place at least once your are simply just missing out. 10 ⭐🤩

Chef inspired specials daily! They are creative and delicious. Chef Stephanie locally sources in season produce and supports local by using local meat, sauces etc. on her menu. She has a heart of gold. LOVES to host events to benefit those in need. The Glass Cat is a wonderful addition to the community.

Watch their Facebook to be part of their events! Always an evening of great food and entertainment.

BEST biscuits and gravy! I could eat it everyday... We go there every morning we can & we haven't tried one thing we didn't love. The owners are genuine, caring people and that is reflected in every aspect of their restaurant.
Definitely recommend!!

It was our first time at the Glass Cat. It was so good! Biscuits and gravy were excellent. As was the Country Benedict breakfast. Probably the best biscuits I've ever had. Light and fluffy and big! I can't wait to go back!

Man. What a great find for breakfast. This place just opened a few months back so they're still working on decor/ ambiance but the food is great.

Giant* fresh biscuits and homemade gravy for her, simple 2 eggs and locally cured bacn for me...was a killer. And the pancake we split was amazeballs.

...and the service was top flight despite being pretty busy.
