From the moment I walked in…I felt welcomed! This was my first visit and look forward to my next. Service was amazing and provided with care. The staff answered all my questions and without hesitation. I purchased a fresh bag of espresso beans ands enjoyed an espresso shot. Make sure to visit when you’re in the San Carlos area.

Such a cute spot! With an incredible holiday special - the cardamom-white mocha. Got it with almond milk in a big sunny mug and it was so creamy and lightly sweet and cardamom. Was tempted to get another one but didn’t want to get too buzzed, but already wanting it again this week! They’ve got a hidden little outdoor table in the back that’s even quieter than the one on the street, highly recommend.

We looooove the Groovy Goose!!! Finally an alternative to the big chains. Their coffee is WAY better, their pastries are amazing and fresh and locally made, and their prices are great! Not to mention they have a reward system and after just a few weeks, I received $5 off of my purchase today-- can't beat that!

I've had iced lattes, hot lattes, and cold brew. The cold brew is a slightly lighter roast than I usually prefer but everyone has different tastes and it was still very good! They use my favorite oat milk from Califia. I've tried the scones, the butter croissant, the gluten free banana muffin, and the prosciutto sandwich on a delicious baguette. All so good!!

The owners are San Carlos locals, and they're such great people! The entire staff is lovely, welcoming and helpful.

Skip the lame chains and check them out for sure! It has the coolest vibe and decor, LOVE the roll up door and the benches!

Pour over machine is finally online! Good coffee, good food, cute spot and theme. Nice little spot on a rainy day or a sunny one. Might need more seating on rainy days though.

Really nice pour over and Americano. Sandwiches and baked items are all solid.

Service is decent but the set up is fairly confusing. They don’t always call names clearly and people are all trying to figure out whose drink is whose.

I didn't get any food, but I for sure loved my mocha. What an awesome little coffee spot in San Carlos. Avoid the bucks AKA McDonald's of coffee and enjoy excellent coffee at the Goose.

I had a great time at Groovy Goose. The coffee roast was amazing and I enjoyed the large open garage door. Pastries were perfect! I highly recommend visiting this coffee shop.

By FAR the best coffee latte (espresso) in town or maybe in the Bay Area. Deep roasted flavor and I’m an Italian espresso expert lol and the food is top notch. So dang grateful to finally have some real home town quality and less of another chain in our town. Thank you Goose! You have our heart and we’ll always be back for more! Our friends too!! Woot! Newest coffee option in San Carlos & they have nailed all the fundamentals that make such a place a joy to come to. Staff is friendly, drinks are thoughtfully prepared & consistent, prices are reasonable. Local folks doing good is always a treat! My new favorite mornimg spot.

Went to their soft opening and loved their energy, atmosphere, service, and coffee! There was no menu but they could make most coffee orders so it wasn’t a big problem, especially since it’s a soft opening. We talked to the owners and they were so open to feedback, very friendly, and explained all of the goodies they’ll offer once they fully open. We’re so excited!! My husband I both got iced vanilla lattes and they were PERFECT! Just the right amount of sweetness. Support a LOCAL coffee shop and go here!

Got latte with vanilla and lavender. Not too floral of a taste. Danish used filo dough instead of the usual puff pastry variation. It had a good amount of cheese filling and glazed fruit on top for a quick breakfast. Groovy green smoothie tasted good. Was creamy and didn't taste too much like vegetables.

I am so excited about this place. The coffee, staff, and just culture this shop brings is exactly what San Carlos needed. The coffee is sooo good. so cool they roast their own. I think they’ve really taken to heart all the critiques and reviews well and are actively working on perfecting Groovy Goose to be all that it was dreamt to be. It’s new and still working out quirks but i’m excited to see how it evolves. Will update in next couple months.

We were walking around San Carlos, and I saw this new coffee shop. What a find. The coffee is great, and the smoothie was tasty.

Great spot, beautiful decorations. Most importantly, they roast good coffee. I just picked up a bag of coffee and got a free americano, both were pretty good. It's a relief to finally have a good roaster nearby that can make a roast that is not so dark like everyone else. Give them a chance!

Best espresso in town. The folks that work at the shop are friendly, fast and great baristas. You can’t go wrong with groovy goose!

Love having a local coffee shop in town! Drinks are tasty and atmosphere are fun. It always lifts up my mood going into the bright shop. Also has seasonal drinks which is a plus.
