Great experience. Day off so visited on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Started with a Black Jack IPA and ordered the fish n chips. Staff was friendly and attentive. Meal came out promptly. Fish n chips were tasty. Ordered another beer with my lunch (Four Bullets Black Jack Brown Ale) Lunch was good. Beer selection was good. Would recommend this place.

The British are coming...to Plano! We tried the newest British eatery in town tonight. Scotch eggs, fish and chips with proper British ale. Everything was wonderful and the staff are so inviting

Best food around. Genuine British fare. Great service and if you need to be gluten free like I do, it is a safe place to eat. Staff are well trained to deal with allergens.

While I can't speak to its authenticity, I can say that the meal I had was fantastic with a very pleasant and attentive waitstaff.
The shepherd's pie was more than enough food for two people, let alone one. The hand battered onion rings were wonderful.

No complaints whatsoever outside of too much food. LoL

My family and I have been to many of the British pubs around the area, and Abbey Road is one of the best. We ordered the Scotch Eggs and fried Bubbles & Squeak appetizers and both were delicious. My family ordered the Banger & Mash and Fish & Chips and I had the Steak & Ale pie. Everything tasted delicious and authentic to British pub food! I will definitely be back.

Abbey Road is a great place to go if you are wanting delicious English food and a variety of European beers. I had the Reuben and the portion size was huge. The chips are very thick and crispy and have great flavor. Lee, the owner, stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. He genuinely cared about my experience and made me feel welcome. John the bartender was very friendly as well, and even remembered my name when I came in a couple weeks after my first visit. I will definitely be coming back here!

Met a friend here a week ago and had a great time. Staff was attentive and friendly and the place was clean and non-smoking. I had a Rueben, and although I have had better, it wasn't bad, just a different style than I was accustomed to. They have a good variety of Texas craft beers along with the standard British offerings on tap. A good experience overall, and I will definitely be back.

“In Penny Lane there is a fireman with an hourglass, and in his pocket is a portrait of the Queen”, but right here on Preston Road we have our own Abbey Road and it’s pretty keen.

Tonight’s excursion to this new UK themed pub & eatery was well worth the trip. Nestled in the large shopping center at Park & Preston in Plano, Abbey Road Eatery & Ales give you authentic British food along with a great selection of beers, ales and stouts. What I enjoyed about this bar is it’s not excessively loud. The decor is appropriately British without being cliche, and yet you still know you’re in North Texas. The staff was friendly and the food and beverages came up quickly.

So the way to my royal heart is All-Day English Breakfast. Nothing against Denny’s but the UK knows how to make a GREAT breakfast. Eggs your way, bangers, back-bacon, beans, grilled tomatoes, and potatoes. Top it off with hot tea. If you get the Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Bubble & Squeak, or any of the other traditional dishes, finish it off with Sticky Toffee Pudding!! It’s SMASHING!! Also try a bit of the HP sauce on your chips if you want to feel like you’ve been to Manchester instead of the ketchup. I dare you.

As I have been to Across The Pond many times, it was time to try Abbey Road. Absolutley delicious as always. They have the best gluten free options a girl could ask for. As a Celiac, I have never had a reaction or issue with their food. Staff and owners are friendly.

Abbey Road would be a good place to meet a group of friends to drink and watch a game.

We had a nice dinner here. We started with an appetizer sampler with a sausage roll, scotch egg, and bubble and squeak croquettes. the sauce that came with the Scotch egg was amazing and the bubble and squeak croquettes were perhaps the best thing I had that night! For our entrees I had to try the award winning fish and chips, and my husband tried one of the pastys. I'm not sure how authentic it was, because it was the best British food we've had - even better than what we are when we visited England. First time trying a Pimms Cup, and it was fantastic too.
The space feels a bit like a renovated sports bar not a pub, but there are some cool British memorabilia to look at.
Overall, we can't wait to go back!!!

Even though we were here for the "soft open" with a limited menu it was still well worth the visit. The Irish Eggs Benedict was a tasty surprise. Every one in our party enjoyed their meals which also included fish and chips and the smothered chicken. Not a huge collection of beers but excellent sampling from England and Ireland with a batch of the American standards too.

YUM! I have Celiac, so I have to eat gluten-free and most of their menu can be made gluten-free! 😍🤩😍 Their owner has Celiac so they are very knowledgeable! We got the Scotch Egg, Onion Rings, Welsh-Rarebit Chicken, and Sticky Toffee Pudding and it was all good! The only thing that was just eh were the mashed potatoes that came with the chicken, but we added butter and mixed it with the extra Welsh-Rarebit sauce and that improved them.

We've been to their sister restaurant, From Across the Pond and LOVE it! So glad to find this one, since it's much closer to our house!

Great experience! The owner and service was fantastic and the food was delicious!! It was a good atmosphere with plenty of indoor seating with high tops, booths, tables, TVs, a bar, and an outdoor patio. I can’t wait to go back!! This will definitely be a place we will be going regularly.

This place has become a favorite. Best place in town for gluten free food! The owner is Celiac, so they really take care and avoid cross contamination. And my non-gf family members love the food too. They have all of my British pub favorites - fish and chips, bangers and mash, etc. Even gf desserts like sticky toffee pudding.
