Village Hardware

I love this place. EXACTLY what a hardware store is supposed to be. You can tell there is no "Corporate" demanding a service from the workers. The people there seem to actually WANT to be there and enjoy helping and sharing their knowledge.

The employees working at Village Hardware are so friendly and helpful, has things other bigger hardware stores don't have. Overall amazing!!

Great experience! Stores closer to me, both big box and hardware, did not have the exact model I wanted but Village Hardware did. It was waiting for me on their loading dock when arrived. I went inside the store anyway to see if they had some accessories I wanted and they had EVERYTHING, a great grill department. And the rest of the store was amazing as well, just like those complete hardware stores of times past that have everything you can’t find anywhere else. I am looking forward to an excuse to make the drive back to visit again next time I need something beyond everyday basic.

Always find whatever I came for, whether a particular tool or supply, or for advice and recommendations for reliable repair people or the best option to fix something.

Although I didn't find what I needed (spigot and valves for plumbing in a 1937 built house 😏) I found this to be a well stocked hardware store with knowledgeable and very helpful staff. Nice to still see "small town" local hardware stores such as this. Prices were reasonable for the area and it's packed with just about everything. Will go back.

If you love grilling & smoking then this is the place to be! They've got SO MUCH to see that you wish you could buy it all. The staff was very helpful. Forget the big box stores & spend your time & money here. You won't regret it. Certainly worth the trip.

Wish every neighborhood had a hardware store like this one. They had fox farm ocean mist soil in stock. And reasonably priced.

I always go here first when l need any paint, tools or other supplies for projects or home repair. They usually have what l need. Friendly service and the only hardware store in this area that hasn't been bought out by Ace Hardware. If they don't have it, l then go to one of the big box hardware stores as a last resort. I try to help keep the little family businesses going, they are becoming scarce.

I went to three major retailers to get some copies made of a key. NONE of them could do it due to supply and machine issues (sorry Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart). I remembered Village Hardware and thought it's worth a shot. I had copies made in less than 10 minutes and even picked up some Virginia peanuts. Loved my whole experience. Thank you Village Hardware for coming through when no one else could.

Friendly and attentive staff. I found what I needed that I couldn’t find in big box stores, while price factor remained affordable. Really cool.

I placed my ORDER for 3 Items on Monday, 5/22/23 and received am email Text on Friday, 5/26/23 that my Items were ready for pickup.

My first time dealing with this Hardware store, but certainly won't be my last 🙂

Could not have had a better experience here! I bought a new Weber gas grill. The guy in the store was very knowledgeable and spent a good amount of time with me. Turns out he was the store owner. After figuring out my best options to consider, he gave me his card and said I could just call back to order it. I did some online comparison shopping and realized that, although their price was higher, it included free assembly and delivery, plus they hauled away the old grill. They also transferred the propane tank and shined up the grill when it was in place. For my money, all that service more than made up for the slightly higher price. All that, plus an old fashioned hardware store with helpful, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend you check them out!

This place is the perfect neighborhood hardware store. They have what I need 90% of the time. And I can find it rapidly by asking any staff member where something is and then they lead me to it. Prices are competitive with the box box stores, too. Highly recommended.

a unique local hardware & garden shop, they have a little of everything & know a little of everything lol also jim the grill specialist is indeed a go to guy for all your cooking needs and has an amazing sauce & seasoning collection to try!

You are able to find everything you might need. Staff are very welcoming.

I love this hardware store. It takes you back to the days of mom and pop hardware stores. There are always people eager to help you and all the great little impulse buyer tchotchke at the register is so much fun but dangerous (but you might also find something you didn't know you needed!). They're a little more expensive for larger purchases like lawnmowers and grills but they come delivered, assembled and ready to go! Certainly worth the difference!

The store is under new, corporate ownership, and all of the older guys who knew everything are at home, working in their shops. So it was both surprising and gratifying when Eric went above and beyond with his help. They still have the same awesome selection of everything.

If you can't find it at Village Hardware or at The Variety Store in the next block, you can probably do without it.

This store is exceptionally well run. I was researching charcoal grills from ceramic Kamados to Weber kettles and when they took me downstairs I could not believe how many kinds they had! I’ll never buy another grill from anyone or anywhere else. This is a destination store. Family owned, very well organized and everyone is very nice. Excellent customer experience and service. This is retail done right.
