The best breakfast sandwich and hashbrowns! The hubs had oatmeal with brown sugar, raisins and cream, he loved it! Coffee was delicious too.

It's like an episode of "The Twilight Zone". The food and the prices are a pleasant reminder of another era. My goodness, the special was steak and lobster for 30 bucks! The cinnamon rolls are HUGE. And my wife and I are stuck in an endless loop. We arrive in John Day after a day spent exploring the area, and the Squeeze In sounds like a good idea. The next morning when we get up the Squeeze In still sounds like a good idea. "Rinse and repeat." We are sure there must be other nice restaurants in the John Day area. If we ever break out of this cycle we may find them.

Great place to have breakfast. Very welcoming people and very convenient location. I had a tasty "Build your own omelet". However, the options they have sound great too. I'll try another next time, and some waffles!

food was really great! excellent experience in the new location's bar area. played some video poker, had a glass of wine with lunch and enjoyed some gluten free bread on my sandwich. good service too! Thanks!

I was very pleased with Squeeze-in Restaurant. I went with a pretty good sized group last Sunday and the team that they had working did a great job. They were busy all morning and then I am sure that when our group showed up It didn't help. When we showed up the waitresses were cheerful. The waitress we got you could tell has had a long day but was still professional. She reminded me of my Grandma. It was surprising but refreshing that she was straight forward and mater of fact. The food came out in a timely manner and it was good.

Small place. A few miles off the highway but worth the detour. I just finished probably the best omelette I’ve ever eaten.

Clean, Fast service, massive serving sizes, Country Fried Steak had delicious white gravy.

The food here is delicious and the portions are huge . The people are very nice and friendly and willing to help with food decisions.

Stopped in early one morning on my way to a fire, and lost both my credit and debit card in the parking lot after pulling both out at the register. Called and no one had seen them, then received a message later, when someone turned the cards in and the staff used call history to find my number. They kept the cards in an envelope in the office and I was able to get them back a week later! Trustworthy folks. Good food, too.

The Squeeze-In was highly recommended by the locals I had talked to. The food was good and the service was great! We enjoyed the friendly small town cafe. John Day Oregon has some of the nicest/friendliest people I've met.

The waitresses were very friendly and the food was great. The prices were about twice what you would pay at most fast food joints, but they gave us a lot of food so I felt it was a really good value for the price. When we got there, they were in the process of packing lunches for the woodland firefighters, so that was pretty awesome.

Traveling through here on the way to Nevada and got some seriously good breakfast food! Had them make me a custom omelet that was loaded with hash browns and smothered in hollandaise sauce and it was exactly what i needed. The waitress was super friendly and the vibe here was friendly and comfortable. I will definitely stop here again on my travels.
