The Dr. Martens Store - Oak Brook

I had a great experience at the Oakbrook location! It was my first time there and it won’t be my last! Diego was awesome!! He was so thoughtful the whole time and gave great advice when I couldn’t decide on what to get. When I had trouble putting on a pair of boots he even tightened the laces for me. That’s what I call excellent customer service! I ended up purchasing two pairs of shoes thanks to him. Definitely coming back!

The staff here were awesome, I have bigger feet so I typically cab only shop online but the staff helped me find a pair of boots that not only fit me but looked great. Thank you so much for the help

I shopped at the Doc Marten store in Oakbrook for the first time today. I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. I wear leg braces so shoe shopping is always somewhat of a challenge for me. Irene waited on me and she gave me some of the best customer service I’ve had in quite some time! She was very knowledgeable and offered me several options. She was very patient and helpful. She worked with me to find the best shoe for me and I walked out of the store with a new pair of shoes!! Irene put time and effort into helping me. You can tell by the service she gives her customers that she truly cares. I can’t say enough good things about the store and the service I received! I will definitely be back!!

I had the best experience! Alisa was SO helpful, she suggested a really great pair of boots, set me up with insoles and helped me pick a pair of laces. She even switched the laces out for me! Thank you Alisa for going the extra mile! This was customer service at it's finest.

I just wanted to express my appreciation for store manager Irene. I’ve always wanted a pair of docs but struggled to find a pair that fit properly. I received a pair for my birthday recently that were too big. Sizing down was too small, but Irene gave me several options until we found the perfect boot. She was so kind, knowledgeable , and patient. Thank you! :)

Dr Martin's shoes to me are very comfortable very well made and I think just personally the best shoe out there

Overall great experience. Would like to add a half star just because the shop is on the smaller side but staff was great place was clean and organized.

Customer service was bizarre and cold. When he brought out the boots he gave me one shoe…. So I stood up and tried to get a feel for it. Same with the other boot I wanted to try on. Finally I asked can I try both of them on?? Like da f… how do you work in a shoe store and not ask your customers how they feel, if they like it, we need to walk around with both shoes on…He just stood there and seemed more interested in getting back to the convo with the other 3 employees who stood around doing nothing. Weird and will not be coming back.

Called ahead of time to see if they carried YOUTH sizing in specific as I wanted to make an exchange and the worker told me over the phone yes they do and that I could make the swap. I went ahead and drove 30 minutes plus an extra 20 since I had trouble finding the store itself and when I finally get inside they tell me they don’t have youth and couldn’t make the exchange. Sad I had to waste my time making the drive out there.
