Stillwater Cafe

I came in for their Friday night dinner special that they have every other week. It was a fixed four course dinner for $32.00. They have two seatings and I would definitely recommend reservations because every seat was taken. The portion sizes for your appetizer and salad were ideal. When my entree came out I was amazed how much was given to me. I didn’t think I could finish it but it was too good to take home. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo with rice and corn bread. By the time dessert came I had to bring it home because I was so full, but that was delicious too. I hope they continue this small town gem because I will definitely come back.

I’ve had bacon all over the world. New York. London. LA. Berlin. I still dream about the Bacon here that we ate waiting for our Philly friends to show up for a hike. The home fries were great too. Only been once, but would make a detour to go again if I’m in the area and hungry.

Our first visit, but we’ll definitely be back. We saw a Facebook post that someone shared about the Friday night dinner special and this peaked our interest. Decided to try it for breakfast first. We both had their “hash brown stack”. Different from anything we’ve had - AWESOME! A little out of the way for us for breakfast, but well worth it. We’ll be back, and are definitely going to try the Friday dinner specials soon. (The only reason I gave 4 ⭐ for service is that the food comes a little slow. This wasn’t an issue for us, but might not be the best place if they’re busy and you’re in a hurry - we weren’t. And don’t let that be a reflection on the staff who were very friendly and helpful.)

Most amazing place to eat. Breakfast was amazing with large omlettes. Service was great. Best part was watching people get mail in the operating post office inside. A must place to eat

Delicious Sunday breakfast! A full breakfast menu with hearty portions, friendly service, excellent bottomless coffee, all in a beautiful space. Five in our party this morning, ordering from all across the menu. All the dishes came out together, nice and hot, and each was thoughtfully prepared exactly as ordered and excellent. Everyone in our group loved the dish they ordered, which included omelettes, pancakes, French toast, fried eggs, and home fries (we ordered ours with peppers and caramelized onions). This place is a treasure. Highly recommend

The Home Fry Bowl was fantastic. It was very flavorful and the portion was generous. Service was fast and friendly. I'm annoyed I just discovered this little gem, I'll be back.

A hidden gem. Had breakfast that was one of the best I ever had. The pancakes were think and fluffy. The bacon and potatoes were fresh, not like a diner where you know they been sitting around. Will definitely come back, again and again

One person runs this place efficiently. The omelets are delicious and we are going to go once a week.

Love the Stillwater cafe/general store. Been going here since I was born and although it's changed owners a few times the quality, customer service, and interior has stayed top notch. The food is delicious, the staff is always friendly and fast, and having the post office here is super convenient. It's a staple in Stillwater!!

Stopped by for Dinner yesterday and got the Ny strip with blue cheese butter and the mrs’s got the chicken Franchise. Nice size portions great prices and everything was really delicious! Nice little cozy spot will definitely be back.

Stopped in on a weekday afternoon after hiking at nearby White Lake. Friendly staff, great food, we will be back!

How did it take us 20 years to find this place? A great tasty breakfast that beats anything around, making up for a plain atmosphere and limited menu.

Really good food in a small, local setting. I highly recommend the turkey reuben seasonal special that's available at the time of writing.

Also somewhere to go if you want a quick bag of candy, a muffin, or even loose leaf tea interestingly enough!

diverse menu - very good food (we ususally get breakfast or lunch) - suprisingly long hours (didn't realize they served dinner too - plan on trying that in near future! Small location (cozy) not a lot of tables - but if weather good there is some outside options - or just get to go on your way to all of the great nearby outdoor options!

Great food great people great atmosphere what more can you say you can't ruin perfection!
