Front Street Cafe

Passing Baxter I asked for recommendations for breakfast and a lot of people recommend Front Street Cafe. I’m really glad I come here it doesn’t look fancy it’s pretty quiet breakfast is good and service is friendly and polite. Biscuits and gravy are so tasty one of the best I tried. Great food good service and quiet atmosphere,not to forget just cash of checks and prices are fair.

High rankings in the reviews and they met/exceeded expectations! A good everything omelette with hash browns. Friendly service. Order served hot & in a timely manner. No frills, clean restaurant.

They have soup that is delicious right away and a hole in the wall worth visiting also the salon next door is phenomenal and reasonably priced for exceptional service and always a great experience and end product. She does hair, lash extensions, hair removal, facials, and a cute boutique. Definitely worth stopping by both!

This place is a hidden gem! The “everything hashbrowns” were amazing, but the real treat was experiencing a true family-ran business. You can feel the love in the way they speak to their customers and each other. The feel is just like home.

If you are looking for an old fashioned Cafe in the Brainerd Lakes Area this is your spot.
They have old fashioned comfort food Breakfast and Lunch is always delicious.
There Chicken Dumpling soup is always a go to when I stop here.
A true gem in Downtown Brainerd.

Ok now these guys are real and prices are fair!! Food is great and there is NO $20.00 HAMBUGER on the menu😃😍😁(rare in todays world) most places have jumped on the greed wagon and jacked up everything... Not this place taste fun place👆👍👌

Great home style good. Great atmosphere. No matter how long it's been since you been there Nikki remembers what you drink. Favorites Liver n Onions and the best Chicken Dumpling Soup. "Almost as good as mine." according to my daughter. There Chow Mein is awesome also.

Food is awesome and great service, depending on the volume how fast it is but they cook it right instead of rushing. A lot of nice customers in there, (the regulars) enjoy it every time I stop.

Very good home style meals, soups, chili, pies and desserts. Reasonably priced breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Small town atmosphere and family owned and worked Front Street cafe. Accommodating my special diet. Waitress was prompt, courteous and very welcoming.

Great food and a friendly atmosphere, these days it's hard to find a cafe with such excellent service. My wife and I love bringing our four girls here as often as possible. Thanks, and keep up the good work. We truly are blessed to have such a gem here in Brainerd.

Did breakfast here returning from a vacation in the Brainerd Lakes area. Delicious omelet and eggs to order. Attentice and friendly service. Love the homey, local vibe.
