1808 Public House

Such a nice breath of fresh air modern dining with a upscale POV. This was our first time at their brick and mortar restaurant, but had enjoyed their food at a local festival a few time and were blown away. By far the best and unique selection at any festival around. Today we got to try the Sunday brunch buffet, the fried chicken was so good. Definitely looking forward to trying again with some others dishes off the menu.

Super cute place in historic downtown Doniphan. The food is excellent and priced well. The club sandwich is fantastic as are their fries! Their panko mushrooms are my favorite though! Service is always great. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Always a great time at 1808, wait staff is always friendly and prompt! Very clean and the food is delicious. Best Steaks around 🥩 and I love how they have a lunch special just about every day. Makes for a quick easy and stress free lunch for those of us in a time pinch! 10/10 Would definitely recommend

This is the best place to go eat! Good food! Great service! Wonderful hospitality! And yummy food, this place is a must try. I had the buffet the catfish was perfectly cooked I will definitely come back to this place and eat 👍

I was home for a visit and we stopped by 1808. Our table ordered the mac and cheese bites, lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi, ribeye, and sirloin. Everything was delicious with great presentation. My 17 year old son was the only one of us who had room for the fried Oreos. They were a hit. Kelli was one of, if not, the best waitress we’ve had. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

My youngest son and I had been working hard all morning, and when lunchtime came around, I told him of a place in Doniphan we could go.

We got downtown and parked in front of the buildings on State Street and stepped out of the car. My son walked right into 1808 Public House, a place I hadn't seen in all my trips to town. In we went.

I'm glad my son assumed 1808 was where I intended for us to eat. The food was great, as was the service! We will be back!

This place is exactly what Doniphan needed. They have done an incredible job restoring this building, creating a place to enjoy delicious food, full bar, and live music. The food is delicious! My favorite things I have tried so far are the hot bbq wings, ribeye, and the shrimp scampi. They also have rotating craft beers on draft and an extensive cocktail menu. If you haven’t checked it out yet, get out and support this amazing local business!

The Salmon Almondine was phenomenal! I am always looking for a different salmon dish and this one is the best I have ever tasted. The service was great and the atmosphere is clean and modern. Be sure to put this establishment on the MUST VISIT list ❣

This place is great especially on live music nights. Also has some cool history ask the owner about it. Elvis presley played there once I believe!

Enjoyed a nice birthday lunch with my Dad. Good burger, cooked well but loved the thin cut seasoned steak fries. Crispy planks of goodness

Literally eat here 4 plus times a week. Love the atmosphere, the food is always amazing, friendly staff great prices!

Hands down best good that you can get in Doniphan. Fresh food. Worth the price. I have no complaints

Matti was amazing at getting us our food & drinks.

Food was GREAT! Rare ribeye cooked right. Ladies had a shrimp Alfredo & chicken alfredo either no complaints.

Salad bar a open bar so you can out what you want on your salad.

Bar didn't do frozen drinks but the iced margaritas were spot on. Draft beers available.

We had drinks & food. Wait staff amazing & a BIG THANK YOU to Matti.

2 of us had a pasta dish & other had a steak. Steak cooked rare as ordered, chicken moist & shrimp perfect & not overcooked. Alfredo sauce was AMAZING!

Great location from KC campground! Cute place we jus randomly saw an went on in! There was live music (which I love) an epic drinks. The vibe is pretty 😎. Food was Insanely 😋 good! They are newer I believe. #supportlocal

Nice, clean restaurant. Wait staff was great and prompt! Salad was fresh and crisp. The salmon was absolutely delicious! Good variety of drinks..I tried the jalapeño pineapple margarita…it was different, but very good! We will definitely be having more date nights here!!
