our server kaleigh was wonderful! so kind and attentive. the people were friendly, constantly checking in and it felt like a true community place. food was amazing especially for being relatively cheap. could not recommend enough!

Absolutely amazing! The flavor of the foods, the service, the friendliness! On a girls trip, and we stumbled upon this place! Three of us had the Abe Froman, which was out of this world! The avocado toast was amazing as well as the French toast!! Our waitress, and the Chef was incredibly friendly!! Will be back!

Charming breakfast cafe with excellent coffee and absolutely delicious breakfasts and lunches, regardless of whether we were in need of sweet, savory, or gluten-free options. Over the course of this week we had some light and fluffy gluten-free Belgian waffles, omelets with sides of the best home fries, and some wonderful sandwiches (try the 9th street and the smoked turkey club). Can't wait to come see you again!

Loved their PA location so I may be a bit biased when I say that I love this beach-y version. Sure it seems a bit redundant to some, but who cares when the food is delicious?

I’ve got two words for you: “bacon gravy.” Of course, they have other bacon-less options, but “bacon gravy” has stuck with me. Definitely a must stop on any shore visit. Great food. Great service.

First time visitor to the Bright Spot but it will not be the last. Came in with a crew of 9 on a dreary December morning and it was like walking into sunshine. The owners/staff are warm and welcoming and the decor lives up to the restaurant’s name. A great breakfast fare menu with something for most everyone (NOTE: I didn’t look carefully for vegetarian or food sensitivity items). It’s got a kitchy comfy vibe and they source many of their products from well -known PA places reflecting the owner’s roots in the area. We’ll be back and thanks for the dose of good food and energy !

I went here in July for the first time since the name change. This was my favorite breakfast spot since I was a kid and it's great even with all the changes! It's perfect for any age group kids can come and see characters and adults can have a great breakfast! They give you huge portions, the biggest i've ever seen. The prices were super reasonable. I'll be sure to come next year. My fiancé has never went before this year and I told him we have to come. He's skeptical about breakfast places similar to yours but he loved it as well!

Our best meal in Sea Isle! Don't let the exterior fool you, this is elevated farm to table food that is much more sophisticated than typical beach town fare. We ate here twice during the week, a lunch and a dinner and everything was very very good. The servers have genuine smiles and positive attitudes, and you could taste the freshness and quality of the food. Can't wait to come back next year.

I stopped by the other evening for a quick bite with my family and I was served by a wonderful young lady by the name of Toni (I hope I spelled her name correctly). She provided excellent service and was so polite that she made my evening! By her recommendation, I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious old fashioned burger. I have never felt inclined to write a review on any meal or service until now thanks to Toni and Bright Spot. We will return!

Breakfast until 2pm. Biggest cup of coffee ever. Great service.

Wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal here. Omelets were great. Scrapple was excellent.

Just had the best chicken sandwich everrr!!!! from Bright Spot and my husband (very picky about his food) devoured the Ribs he ordered too!!!! Thank you for the amazing food and very friendly accommodating service… 😎❤

Excellent service, great food, you can tell the food is fresh and not a bunch of stuff from the freezer aisle. The French fries are the best in SIC, real potatoes and made to order. The new owners have done a great job with the place!

We located Shoobies at 8am and found it to be the only restaurant open on this Monday morning for breakfast in Sea Isle City. Thanks Shannon for excellent service and the early start to your day and the wonderful food prepared by your husband. Three words about the cheesesteaks....A. MA. ZING!!! As an Italian Philly girl, I am always on the lookout for an incredible cheesesteak. This is definitely the BEST on the island! Best of luck to the new owners, Shannon and Tom. Your passion for quality and service is evident! Can't wait to come in for breakfast soon!
