Rim Village Café and Gift Shop

Mid-May still had a lot of snow but we were able to see the lake from a Vista locates before the parking lot. The souvenir area had a lot of selections at various price ranges. We only got coffee which wasn't very good. Employees were friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed visiting the rim center. The restaurant was on the second floor with the gift shop close by. A viewing and seating area was on the third floor where it overlooked Crater Lake. An elevator was available. I visited the gift shop and bought some items. The food smelled delicious but did not try it. The Rim was only steps away from the crater rim with a spectacular view. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It's a gift shop. You're really only here for souvenirs and maybe a snack. But it's nice because it was cold and snowy the day we were up there. But you can get up there after they clear the road for the south entrance during early winter. We were up November 24, 2023

What a great place to stop, enjoy the views, eat and load up on souvenirs!! I loved this little shop!! So much to choose from! It is a bit pricey, but understandably! There's an outside seating to enjoy your meal. They're are restrooms just around the corner from the shop. People had their dogs with around the area too. You can walk to the Rim Village Visitor center and to Crater lodge from here. It's a nice walk around the whole area. It does get pretty crowded, especially on holiday weekend! We went on labor day, which means VERY LONG LINES! But we got there early so we didn't have to wait. But on the way out, the lines were ridiculously long.

3 levels. I like their layout. Beautiful dining area on top level.

Beautiful day for a visit to Crater Lake. Walked around the entirety of the Rim Village, got some great pictures, my boyfriend got me a cute pocket knife souvenir. Loved it! I had not been since I was a kid ❤

Very nice little gift shop and cafe. Prices are what you would expect from a National Park gift store and cafe. Hefty price tag for very basic services but then again, you are at least supporting a National Park.

Kids enjoyed it and the view is incredible. Clean facility and restrooms with very friendly young staff.

Food is average but the location of this place is amazing. The only place however in Crater Lake where you can fill your stomach. The gift shop also has much variety.

Perfect spot, great view of Crater Lake, nice gift shop, with a nice varietyof food for a small snack/lunch counter ... The chili was actually delicious, fresh French fries salted just right !

Front staff were proper and friendly. Hot, cold, or snowy, they have some stuff you'd need for a hike just in case you weren't fully prepared like me who forgot his sunglasses😅 Oh and their broccoli soup was amazing! We went on a snow hike up to watchmen peak trailhead from here. Luckily, they had snow shoes for rent, which are a must when hiking through deep snow. They also had a shades clip for my glasses, which were polarized. That saved my eyes cause the sun bounces off the snow like crazy when it's sunny.

Good one to pick some Crater Lake suviniors. Ice Cream bars , snack and coffee.

Expensive cafe food, $6 hotdog on stale bun. Skip it tbh, but the gift shop and views are nice.

Beautiful even though I couldn’t see the lake. The employees were very friendly and it totally worth the drive.

Great exhibits, really nice volunteers, and the view can only be beat by walking outside to the edge.

Ok so we did the drive around crater lake and went to the gift shop. There was a clerk at the gift shop that was nice enough to take a dollar out of his own pocket so me and my finance could make a penny in the penny machine his name is Enrique and I would like to thank him one more time. Wish there were more people on the planet like him.

Friendly staff. Had to wait in line to enter due to covid restrictions. Beautiful building in a beautiful location all around very much so worth the 415 mile round trip. If you have never been to crater lake it’s a must see. It’s a view you will never ever forget. North rim was currently still closed.

Great views and always fun to get it into nature

A very convenient gift shop and cafe - the cafe has a reasonable selection of hot food, cereals, and snacks. Clean restrooms.
