British Open Pub

Madison was my pleasant bartender today. I went with a twist in my order. A blackened fish sandwich with French frys. Extremely tasty. I highly recommend. 2-16-24 Dad + I went to listen to Sarah Fleener vocalist/guitarist from 7-10. Our first time hearing her. We were not disappointed. She had a versatile voice range which opens up her song choices. We enjoyed her music thoroughly. Bruce + Katie were behind the bar keeping a busy bar full of patrons happy

WOW! When Mum said she was taking me out for a colossal pretzel, I certainly didn't expect the BOP's Big (beautiful) Bavarian Pretzel!

Served on a wooden cutting board, with a knife and a serving of beer cheese, this giant beauty was cooked just right; slightly crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside - so much fun to munch.

I ate the whole thing! 😋

The service was excellent - friendly, timely, and accommodating. At about noon-ish on a Sunday, the atmosphere was quiet enough to enjoy a conversation amongst other diners.

Though I've only been twice and had the Big Bavarian Pretzel each time, I have it on good authority (Mum) that the BOP serves up a great experience every time 😉.

For my first pub experience, it was a delightful one. Our server was very nice whilst recommending what was good to eat, and I settled on the Bacon Brie LT. I chose the homemade potato chips for my side.
Lord have mercy these were the best chips I had in ages, and the baguette BLT was scrumptious too! Chips truly stole the show, and the overall environment and mood of the joint was comforting as well. Will be returning for sure!

First-time diners. My wife had the french dip, two of us had fish and chips, and one had the chicken tenders and chips. Everyone was pleased with their food. Our server did a good job. My only suggestion is to not have tables so close together. When people were seated next to us, there was no separation.

Wow! What a dinner 26 of us had Saturday 4/27. Thank you and Bravo. We made a reservation well in advance for our golf group. Our server didn't miss a beat. A real pro. Separate checks were perfect. Food an drinksbcame out fast and were good. Highly recommend. Many of us (all local) hadn't been in awhile (or ever) and many said they'd be back.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in a very long time. The server Rae was wonderful, the food AH-MAZING, outstanding, delicious... can't say enough about this place. This will be a regular stop.

The British Open Pub is just a fun place to eat with a great variety of, well, British food. The bar selections are outstanding, the owner takes a personal interest, and the staff is wonderful. I go every couple of months for the variety.
Insider tip, they have awesome St. Patrick's Day parties.

Very impressed with the atmosphere, well presented & interesting food menu! Staff was friendly & attentive. The price was moderate and I enjoyed my visit. Bonus: If you like spirts, especially top shelf whiskey 🥃& bourbon this is your place! Fun atmosphere with a train 🚂 that runs along the ceiling, cool British phone booth and decor, you can eat inside our outside with pretty garden patio. The Scotch eggs and bravo were to die for!! I will return just for those delicious gems. One of Venice’s lovely pubs!

The last couple of times I’ve gone the apps haven’t been on point but everything else is amazing! They always treat everyone with kindness and check on you frequently. The inside looks exactly how you’d feel and English pub would look. I’ve literally not had a single bad thing on their menu. You won’t be disappointed if you go with any part of the experience.

Such a neat and clean restaurant. Menu items were served from opening: Opens at 11am. I had the liver and onions (onions on the side as I'm allergic) smashed red potatoes and my extra side was steamed broccoli. Soup of the day today was split pea. To drink I had a London lemonade with peach vodka (I believe). It was very busy, but plenty of indoor and some patio seating as well.

Great restaurant and bar excellent service excellent food couldn't ask for better.

Woah, what a great diving experience! Service and food is on point. We shared the meat loaf Wellington and the sand wedge salad and both were delicious. Our little one enjoyed watching the toy train go by as he ate. We’ll definitely be making more stops here on ours usual treks through I75!

Jordin was a great attentive server who knew what to suggest. Fantastic food (corned beef and cabbage) only better service. No conversations in the nearly full pub. Everyone was enjoying their food. This will be a regular spot for me.

We eat here most every Wednesday because my wife loves the split pea soup. Good menu choices and many beer options. Denise is always friendly and efficient. Excellent service! Jade is great also.

Friendly staff, great decor, phenomenal menu. Johnny served us and he was knowledgeable and attentive without making you feel rushed.

Excellent shepherd's pie and fish and chips. The Puba colada was delicious and huge, the Guiness was smooth. Excellent waitstaff and food was delivered quickly. A great first time to the Pub

Met friends for dinner. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. Despite being there at a busy time service was prompt and food was delicious. We have never been disappointed.

Don't worry if you can't make it to England just get on down to the British open pub. Food is fantastic, friendly service, and the restaurant itself is very neat! Lots of cool English pub decor, even a train going around the ceiling. One of my new favorites!

Generous cocktails, Guinness on tap, great onion rings, delicious prime rib sandwiches and burgers. Very reasonable prices. A great place when you are in Venice recovering from the snow!
