A new gem in the City of Poughkeepsie!

Starting off with their menu. The options are aplenty! Nearly everything one could possibly want of Indian food can be found here. Not to mention, the physical menu has mouthwatering photos of their many offerings.

The restaurant is very well lit, inside and out. Their shelves are well stocked and organized, and I was greeted in such a warm, welcoming manner.

My food was ready for pickup at the exact time I was told, and when I brought it home and unwrapped everything, I was so pleased with what I saw and smelled.

The vibrancy of the Veggie Fried Rice was unlike any I’ve seen before. It was beautiful, honestly. It also contained a healthy portion of vegetables.

The Butter Chicken smelled so good! And the taste matched it so nicely. I will say, it was a bit spicier than I anticipated, but no complaints about this. It was a cold evening, and this was what I needed.

Lastly, the Chilli Garlic Naan was the perfect complement to the meal. Just the right amount of spiciness and good texture. It enhanced the whole experience.

I highly recommend Dhaniya Mirch! It is so nice to have them in the area.

I was very excited to see a homestyle Indian Restaurant open up near me. I was met with amazing service, and got a good portion of Chicken Tikka Masala for a great price!

They also have a very large and diverse menu, with various Indian baked goods, as well as imported goods like Mitch Masala and liquid syrups!

The store is very clean and organized, with a relaxing ambience that feels very inviting.

I honestly can't wait to try out more of their dishes!

They are well stocked in spices, frozen meals, and snacks. The hot food is to die for! Literally the best samosa that I've ever had. So much flavor, and perfect texture. Very excited that they are so close to home!

The staff here is so friendly and knowledgeable, especially if you want something vegetarian! I am impressed by their homemade mango lassi, which they make with fresh mangoes and their own homemade yogurt. I would share a picture but I drank it all so maybe next time!
