Honestly, I was super apprehensive about going somewhere I wasn’t used to, but it was close to home and hey why not.
I stopped in and got some batteries. One exploded 15 minutes after it got put in the charger.
When my husband tried to take it back with the receipt, the employee argued with him and said his uncle had to do it. The uncle who I assume is the owner, was super friendly and made it right. Apologized and gave money back. All good, until tonight.
My mom went in and got coils for her vape. Whoever she bought them from sold her the wrong ones. I JUST tried to return and swap them out for the right one. She didn’t have a receipt, and the younger dude working tonight was treating me like I was robbing him and kicking his puppy. I told him I wasn’t sure when they were purchased, but it was off of the older gentleman.
He just kept running his mouth about how he hasn’t sold any of those coils in the last two weeks and he’s the only one that works there. 12 hour shifts. 14 days straight.
I said I know it wasn’t him that sold them to her, however, the person working should know what is what and THEY gave her the wrong ones.
He was SUPER defensive, basically talking to me like I am stupid or a criminal. I never called him out. All I wanted to do was swap the coils for the right ones.
I will not set foot back in there as long as he is there. Both times thin
gs went wrong and he was the one that had to be dealt with, he was unpleasant, defensive and tried to throw the blame on us.
