Slice of Heaven Bakery

My wife and I stopped in at the Slice of Heaven Bakery while on a trip.
We immediately loved the 50s vive. Really cute. We were not alone. The place really does an excellent business.
But what really blew us away was the excellent selection of coffees, cookies, cupcakes, soups, ice cream, pies, breads, etc. We ended up taking home some scones, the famous PMS cookies, two sticky buns, fresh baked cheesy bread, soup to go and more. My lady said that the soup could put "Olive Garden and Panera Bread out of business." Yes, it really was that good! My personal favorite was the sticky bun though.
And as you can see, the owner actually came over and visited with us.
The two of us highly recommend the Slice of Heaven Bakery. The food is out of this world!

I cannot recommend Slice of Heaven Bakery enough! They provided the dessert table for our welcome reception at our wedding at Sand Valley, and it was simply incredible. From the first time we messaged with the Rebecca, we knew we were in good hands. She is professional, responsive, and so accommodating to our requests (and last minute changes/additions). She even delivered all the items to our location.

On the day of the event, the dessert table was set up beautifully, and the desserts themselves were out-of-this-world delicious. Our guests were raving about the selection, which included everything from cookies
to chocolate pretzels to cupcakes. The presentation was stunning, and we were so impressed with the attention to detail.

Overall, Slice of Heaven Bakery made our welcome reception absolutely perfect. We are so grateful for their hard work and would recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch baked goods and service.

Very cute, themed, bakery/coffee shop. The seating and decor are reminiscent of a 60's home and make enjoying the excellent coffee and baked goods even better. The owner and staff are always pleasant and helpful. Probably well known by the locals and a must visit for all visitors to the area.

Rome is so blessed to have this business here. Having the owner's dream come true by opening this bakery shows in the quality of her product. Her cakes are works of art and equally delicious. Cupcakes are another of her specialties. Her scones are my favorite bakery item. It's a great idea to order ahead if you can. Her items are always fresh so quantities may be limited. I also love Rebecca's chai lattes! So glad to see new Sunday hours for spring/summer now!

Run, don’t walk, to get your chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake from Slice of Heaven! The perfect balance of sweet and chocolate, soft but not too crumbly, and I could eat just a bucket of that edible cookie dough. Thanks Becky and crew! The cappuccino was delish too, and haven’t dug into my coffee cake yet. 😁

We have had the pleasure of having 2 cakes made by Slice of Heaven Bakery - there were both "spot on" and absolutely wonderful & delicious! Rebecca LaCount is SO incredibly talented and one of the best bakers we know!

Do you love bread? Do you love sweets? Then you have to visit Slice of Heaven Bakery in the Town of Rome, Wisconsin. We first visited New Years Eve and walked away with 2 humongous Iced Cinnamon Rolls, Parmesan Garlic Bread, Cranberry Walnut Bread, and a scone. Our family guests, as well as ourselves, raved over the quality and flavor of these grand items. The ambiance is very inviting, the owners are exceptionally friendly, and the whole bakery experience is fantastic. Today we stopped after our workout and sat a bit sipping on our perfectly created lattes and the Iced Cinnamon Roll we shared. We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the wonderful comfort the owners provide. Of course we also left with the Cranberry Walnut Bread, which makes the best toast! Whether you are passing through town, visiting the area golf courses, or staying a bit in the Lakes area, stop and be awed by the reasonable priced bakery items and coffees you won’t find anywhere else in the area. Bravo, Slice of Heaven Bakery!

I have always enjoyed slice of heaven bakery. We have ordered custom cakes for the last 3 years and have never been disappointed. Today was my first time at their location and I love it. The setup inside is nice and cozy for a place to sit and chat and have some coffee with some really good cinnamon rolls. Overall I really enjoyed our visit and we will be going back, even though it's a 30 minute drive for us.

We stop in from time to time for a sweet treat, they never disappoint!!! My wife grabbed some Kaiser rolls yesterday…. Best I have EVER had!!! Nice and light, soft but toast well. Absolutely amazing, we will make it a regular stop in our weekly routine weather we have a sweet tooth or not!!!!

I heard about this bakery and how good their cookies were; so I went on an adventure and drove out from Plover just to give it a try. I was absolutely blown away. We tried 4 different cupcake varieties and 6 cookies.

The cupcakes were the most flavorful I have ever had. So fluffy and moist - completely blown away. The raspberry lemonade was probably top 3 of any cupcake I’ve ever had (and I’m a baker)! I would make the drive again just to try a new flavor of cupcake.

The cookies were soft but still a bit crunchy and super delicious. Salted caramel, s’mores and kitchen sink were my favorites. 10/10 would recommend

Scrumptious fresh bakery for any sweet craving you have. The breads are amazing as well. They also serve great coffee and other tasty beverages. Don't forget about the premium ice cream they are scooping! Worth every calorie, but who is counting. The owner, Rebecca is super, as is her team! Our community of Rome is so lucky to have them.

Delicious baked goods, good coffee drinks, and the cutest place to visit. We love the old time living room set up with games! And don’t forget to grab a loaf of fresh hot bread to go!

Rebecca at Slice of Heaven is THE BEST! We've had the chance to have many cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. from her and the items are always top quality, beautifully decorated and packaged, and (for things ordered in advance) ready to go when we need them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! As a bonus, she is super friendly and pretty funny, as well.

Rebecca’s creations at Slice of Heaven not only look like pieces of art, they taste like pieces of art. Actual little morsels of heaven in each bite. From her extremely artistic cakes, to her adult (boozy) cupcakes, to her chocolate chip cookies.. you’ll never be disappointed! Becky is completely self taught and self built from the ground up, beginning in her own home kitchen cooking for family and friends. She has come so far to finally have her own bakery. She can do just about anything you ask for. Not only is she talented but she’s a genuinely GOOD human being at her core.

Everything we’ve had has been excellent at worst, the English muffin bread is absurdly good. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Easily the best bakery we’ve found since moving up to central WI. Lives up to its name!

Where to begin? My wife Samm and I have known Rebecca since she worked at ODC in Rapids. Because of her wonderful people skills, genuine personality, and immediate warmth, we were delighted when she and her husband upended “Slice of Heaven” in Rome, WI. No longer a need to travel to the other Rome or Vienna for her delicious “treats from the heart!”
One more accolade as to how genuine Rebecca is: I happened to be in Riverview Hospital for a few days, of which wife Samm told her while picking up my favorite cinnamon coffee cake. Alas, who walked into my room today with her Slice of Heaven smile and treats?!
Remember, she starts baking at 2:30AM. She took precious time because of who she is.

This bakery is soooooo good! We’ve had them make cupcakes for our wedding and several birthday parties for our kids. The new location has an awesome atmosphere too. I recommend the cookies! Next level.
