From Argentina 🇦🇷 now living in CT, I needed to feel like home and this bakery was the right one 🙌🏼 The staff super nice and omg the food delicious; empanadas, medialunas, desserts , Argentinian products, everything great ⭐⭐⭐

Wow. I found this adorable coffee shop from a simple google search to find new coffee shops in my area. Upon arrival I’m greeted with the most beautiful dessert display I have ever seen. The three table and 4 stool countertop space is clean and boasts a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered a large cappuccino with oat milk and asked for a few suggestions. The friendly host suggested the popular tuna and spinach empanada Argentinian favorite and a chocolate covered strawberry. I also chose a blueberry cheese cake little pastry. Heaven! Pure delicious bliss! My items were delivered to me at my seat with a smile along with a gift from the owner, a ham grilled cheese. Dolce de Leche Cafe will absolutely be high in my recommendation list! Thank you for the great lunch and the hospitality! Cheers!

This coffee shop is so cute and the people are very nice! I had an egg and cheese on a freshly baked croissant and it was delicious! Perfect place for a quick breakfast pickup, or to sit down and drink your coffee. They also have oat milk so I ordered a mocha latte with oat milk.

Very cute place on the corner, very clean and organized, smells wonderful, and the coffee was terrific. The staff are always smiling and was a very satisfying place to get coffee in my home town of Stratford.

So worth the price. Everything is fresh and taste good! Empanadas are so good! The chocolate mouse is amazing!

A bright, light place with big windows. It’s a pleasant place to hang out. They have an impressive array of stuff (membrillo tart, cake, cupcakes, macaron, conitos de Dulce de leche, muffins etc) for such a small place.
The lemon puff pastry was very much you see what you get. The puff was fine, it did it’s job as a little flavor holder. The flavor was a custardy, which for me muddles the bright lemon flavor I like best. But that’s just preference.
The pistachio cake pop had a surprisingly deep pistachio flavor. And it’s packed so densely it’s texture is more like marzipan or something. Pistachio flavor just elevates things.
There’s multiple deserts with Dulce de leche reflecting the stores Argentinian influences. The classic alfajores explode into lemony (?) tinged dust when you bite into it. My first impression is “oof it’s dry”, but before you can finish the thought, it’s ground so finely it practically melts in your mouth. Still, definitely a good one to have coffee with. You might be saddened by the Dulce de leche vs cookie ratio, but it actually works. Any more dulce and it would overwhelm the cookie’s delicate flavor.
I was pleasantly surprised to see they have sandwiches and empanadas, so I could see coming here for more substantial food. The prices were great for a cafe, $10 for 3 treats and a small coffee. Their scope is ambitious, I’d be interested in trying more things to see if they can really make everything they’re setting out to do.

Cute and cozy spot, we stopped by for delicious beef empanadas and alfajores! Love that they add lemon zest to the shortbread, gives it that extra something special. Lots of attention to detail in this space. Will definitely come back if in the area again!

Overall: adorable place, great food, decent coffee, affordable prices.

Very worth a quick stop for some argentinian food.

Dulce de leche is a cute new spot that's great for a quick breakfast or lunch. The dulce de leche coffee was quite good, not overpoweringly sweet. The real stars of the show were the food though, as both the empanadas and chicken bake I had were good enough that I forgot to take a picture. For dessert, I'd recommend the alfajores, as it's hard to find good ones elsewhere.

On top of this, this may be the most well-priced coffee shop in the area by a mile.

What a great find! Have a coffee..relax..do some work? Surf the internet, read..while you have a coffee with "Facturas", delicious empanadas. Get some REAL ALFAJORES from. ARGENTINA, best thing ever. HAVANNA AND CACHAFAZ! If you are in the area, stop by and enjoy!

The cutest little place with a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere. The family who owns it is the sweetest. Everything is homemade and delicious. Empanadas are amazing. Croissants are light and flaky. My lattes are always perfect. Highly recommend this place!

I miss my Argentinian food and sweets, I was so happy to discover this place close by in CT. The alfajores de maicena are so fresh and delicious, the empanada of cheese and ham and the coffee are all terrific and the prices are the best part. It's my favorite cafe and it's cute and quaint! great meet up place.

I went there today and was very pleased with what I saw! Stratford need more places like that. Clean, modern but cozy! I live in the neighborhood and I’m very happy they open this cafe! Coffee was delicious- I ordered cappuccino with oat milk. Price was good and atmosphere of this place is amazing! They have small lunch menu that I can’t wait to try. Staff was smiling and friendly. I wish them all the best
